Review of BIT Mesra

The eligibility for this course is through JEE Main. just go through Josaa counseling and enter the option of this college The admission process is done by Josaa and then transferred to college for further verification and fees submission

I had an interest in Mechanical engineering and my rank was also favoring it. The faculty-student ratio is very well maintained as it is 1:10. Mostly all the faculties here have done Ph.D. and MTECH from IITs. Their knowledge is crystal clear and the method of teaching is application-based. Each chapter has tests assigned for it.

Microsoft, Atlassian, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Tata Motors, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, ZS associates, etc. all offered internships, and the maximum stipend was 125000 by Atlassian and the average stipend offered is 30000.

6 semester onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, tata motors, Microsoft, Flipkart, Delloite, Oracle, ZS associates, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Adobe, Google, Atlassian, and many more... The Highest package given by Atlassian was 62 lakhs to SDE. Average packages are of 12-14lakh mostly for consultancy job. 100% of students are placed. I want to work as SDE in a big firm.

Nearly after every 4 years fees are increased by 2 Lakh or so. The cost of the study is the same as compared of IITs. GP Birla scholarship is given based on financial background or the basis of CGPA scored each semester. The placement scenario is very good here with 100% placement and for Mechanical it average package is 12 Lakh.

The annual fest or the flagship event of BIT Mesra is BITOTSAV. Tech fests are Pantheon.BITOTSAV is conducted in February. All books required are available. Classrooms are well furnished with ACs, Smartboards, and Gallery system classes. The level that Sports has on this campus is pretty much very high. The sports complex is very well maintained with proper arrangements. The gym is multigym with ACs and all equipped with modern gym equipment. The gym also has a gym trainer. There are 28 clubs and societies in BIT Mesra.

Hostel rooms have tiles in them, with a bed, chair, table, and cupboards. There are two plug points. a port for night bulbs, tube lights, and fans is installed. The rooms are well ventilated. Mostly there are single rooms available. Meals are good and not like typical hostel food which is either bad to taste or oily. They make food very healthy with nutritious value kept in mind. three days a week nonveg is given. Registration of the hostel is done by going to the respective hostel. It is a must to stay in hostels.
