I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

BIT REVIEW

Likes

The laboratories are well-equipped with the necessary instruments and machinery.
The college's infrastructure is rather impressive.
The campus is lush green and large enough to stroll about.

Dislikes

Exams are conducted on a relatively frequent basis.
The attendance policy is really tight here.
The class schedules are quite demanding and stressful.

Students become eligible for campus placements in their seventh semester. Every year, several corporations visit the campus, including Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, and Adobe. Atlassian offers the highest package at 58.5lpa, whereas the average for the CSE department is at 20LPA. The percentage of students that are placed here is exceptionally strong, especially for core branches.

Likes

The campus is spacious and surrounded by lush greenery.
The college's infrastructure is quite remarkable.
The labs are well furnished with the necessary equipment.

Dislikes

Exams are conducted on a relatively regular basis.
The classes are from morning to evening which becomes tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enrolled in the mech branch based on my jee rank, and I was also interested in this subject, therefore this was the most influential factor in my decision to enrol in this college department. The college has excellent faculty members that assist students whenever possible and collaborate in all conditions. I don't believe there is any area that need development because it is improving on a daily basis, whether in terms of placement or curriculum. Exam frequency should be lowered to relieve burden on students.

BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MESRA, RANCHI.

Likes

The classrooms are beautiful and well infrastructured.
The campus is huge and sports ground is very big.
The student crowd is quite decent in my opinion.

Dislikes

The attendance policy is very strict here.
The in time for girls in hostel is strictly 9pm.
Few professors are very strict and ruthless in marking and attendance.

Placement Experience:

In the seventh semester, students are qualified for placements on campus. Every year, a number of businesses visit the campus, including Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, Adobe, and others. Atlassian offers the highest package, which was 58.5 LPA, while the production engineering department's average was roughly 12 LPA. Even for core branches, the placement rate for students is quite high.

Likes

Infrastructure is really good and class size is good.
Campus is really beautiful and the labs are really good.
The professors are well educated and experienced.

Dislikes

The exams are conducted on regular basis. work load is high on students.
The classes are really hectic from morning till evening.
Attendance is strictly 75% in any case which is quite irritating at times.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements occur in 7th semester. Companies like amazon, microsoft, atlassian, walmart etc come to college for hiring engineers.Highest package was offered by atlassian which was of 58 lpa. Average It branch package was 20lpa.

The beauty of Jharkhand- BIT Mesra

Likes

The placement is above expectations. Various reputable companies visit our campus including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart.
Campus life is awsome. We have a very big, lush green campus which is very soothing.
Infrastructure is simply awsome. A lot has been put into development of college infrastructure

Dislikes

Management is not responsive at all, they dont reply to email nor they answer calls easily.
There arent any cctv in hostel nor in a lot of campus.
Few Teachers get furious for no reason and abuse their power for even little reasons, and of course yoy cant argue with them

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for internship from the 2nd year itself. And 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Last year 725 offers were made and as of 2022 total of 910 offers were made. With highest of 58LPA was offered . Average package sits at around 12.5 LPA. Various reputable companies visit our campus including Microsoft , Google , Amazon, Cred , Flipkart and many other companies. Some students also follow up for higher studies.

BIT Mesra - a college of hidden talents .

Likes

The best part I like about my college is that it offers a vide range of societies and clubs in which you can improve your skills .
BIT Mesra has its technical event named PANTHEON in which many events are organised and students participate from different college also .
BIT Mesra has huge alumni structure and that help students in getting knowledge from all fields .

Dislikes

Bit mesra has now increase the intake of students which decrease the quality of students .
Now due to high intake students have to share room in hostel .
Only one type of scholarship is provided .

Placement Experience:

As I am production branch student , the on campous placement of production branch of year 2023 is more that 85% and average package offered by companies is 8.5 lakha and highest package is 18 lakhs . Overall average package of college is 11.5 lakhs CTC and highest package offered is 51 lakhs CTC .

The seniors are really helpful to juniers
Pear group is really good there's lots of diversity
There so much to explore lots of clubs lots of event

Dislikes

The college campus feels so empty the to me
College should provide more workshop for the students in order to gain real word experience
Gender ratio is really less in the college

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements, Companies like microsoft, Paytm The percentage of students placed varies branch to branch in my branch around 80 % placed among the qualified If i don't get campus placement i'll go of campus and by the skill i'll try to grab my dream job

BIT Mesra- From the eyes of a first year student

Likes

Environment provided. The setting of the college is such that the students are away from the pollution and ruckus of the city.
Opportunity to upgrade branch in the first year. The students from lower branches can move to higher ones on the basis of their academic record.
Activities and festivals. There is something or the other always happening for the students organised by the various clubs.

Dislikes

The frequency of classes. The day becomes quite tiring for students on a daily basis.
Strict faculty. Some leniency can be shown by teachers.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite promising as of now. All the necessary details regarding the placements are available on the college website www.bitmesra.ac.in . I am currently a student of first year so i do not have much idea about placements other than the records on the website.

The college life and R.O.I is quite good

Likes

The placement stats of production and Industrial Engineering
The campus at BIT is a very lush green campus

Dislikes

The hostels are quite unmaintained and mess food is good

Placement Experience:

The placement of production was quite good but the one of cse has quite decreased this year. The overall avg. Package was quite decent. The placement for production was approx 100% and the clubs here are very productive.

Likes

Well structured electronics lab and other departments lab
Department focuses on research and all..
They have old but well defined building and sports complex

Dislikes

No culture for any activity, no support from the institute
No students are there in students council who could think in our interest and our point of view
The location is disgusting..which is the main drawback for the exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics sector is expected to boom in coming years and I have no other choice but to choose this course and go with this only.Let's see what's gonna happen in coming years .the teaching methods in most Indian college are the worst I will say they are still following the old curriculum and students have no choice but to follow. This is 2024 and ai has came up with lot of resources, this should be included in our syllabus and it should be make compulsory
