  • I disliked the teaching provided to me for my particular course. It is very difficult if you come from a different field. They will expect alot from you as you are masters student but when it comes to teaching to be honest it is a big zero. Hardly any lecturers were good. Will be a waste of money doing luxury fashion brand management as they hardly have any industry visits or any person coming from industry and teaching or sharing experience. null
  • Exposure needed to luxury industry is not there. I expected people from luxury industry will come share experience or will get to visit any company or something but none of it was been done. So basically for this course is a waste of money. As a master’s student and mainly the course is about management where in real nothing related to management withing luxury is been taught. null
  • You have to make your own contacts. So start making contacts as soon as possible. null

I chose this university as it ranked amongst top 10 in arts in UK. My overall experience is a learning path for me evolving gradually and learning. Career opportunities is hardly any if you do not make contacts. Achieving good marks and passing will not help unless you make industry contacts.

I chose this university as the academic reputation of NTU is great for my course of study, and the city itself is extremely student-friendly. It was extremely easy for me as an international student to indulge in university activities and eventually, I fell in love with the city.

Good placements and qualified staff and most importantly it is located in a big city, you need a good city to live in which will help you grow and can give opportunities.

I absolutely loved living in Nottingham and being a part of NTU. I chose it because of the CIPD qualifications along with my degree which was only at NTU. Overall student life and campus were fun. They have many welcoming activities which is great to learn about the city and other peers.

I chose this university as it was the most suitable option based on the marks I scored and was also the most affordable financially. I had read a lot about the same and also found it was easier to study in a small city.

  • I loved the university very much, they don't have anything such students hate. They provide the best facilities in terms of everything.I might say that it is very expensive, which I hate. null

In my experience in terms of knowledge, I was able to enhance many of my skills and able to learn new skills as well.

accomodation: 10/10
placement: 10/10

Dislikes:

  • The lack of international student body. Most of the students were Asians- mostly south asians. I think having an international student body gives you more exposure .

I had to submit 2 LORs, a CV, Grades from my undergraduate degree. There wasn’t an interview requirement. I had to write a Statement of Purpose No interview rounds It was a good university which ranked fairly well in my subject- Fashion. It was an old university which meant a good alumni network I liked the location- Nottingham. It is a student city therefore its nightlife is amazing. One downside going to my university was the lack of international diversity which could have been better.

Dislikes:

  • Placement opportunity could be more better. It's very difficult to get employed after finishing the degree and students mostly go for jobs different from their profile to sustain there. Very costly country. null

It was overall a wonderful experience. Learnt a lot about survival in the most difficult situations.

NTU is accredited by the national council of training for journalists. The module if comprehensive and up to date with the latest requirement in the job market. Ample amount of research scope with faulty coming from around the world.
