My experience from beginning till date in this institution

I didn't feel any negative vibe here. Everything's good. Every teacher, students, seniors are good. I never felt homesick here. There's a educational environment here. And the weather here is the main attraction.

Courses are domain specific here. We are taught about everything related to a subject not only to increase theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills. There are two types of exams in every semester that are mid term and end term where mid term weighs 20% only and end term weighs 50%. Rest 30% marks comes from internal. Internal marks are calculated on the basis of assignments, quizzes, class tests, attendance.

The institute claims 100% placements and it is more over true. Actually every students are placed here. This institute provides internships to most of the students in third year and for that companies take interviews. I am in third year now so I'll be getting internship from college in 2020. So I don't have a personal experience, I won't lie about it. But as far I have heard from seniors, internship gives a special experience through which students can learn many things along with a stipend, that too depends on the company.

The academic year starts with the freshers for the first year students. Then there's a cultural event of two to three days and then there's a technical event. In these, multiple events are held where students can participate. And all the major festivals like independence day, yoga day, republic day are celebrated here.

Fee structure varies from course to course, yesr to year, branch to branch. There will be a security amount of 20k included in the fee of first semester which is refundable too. And the fee is much more feasible. From middle clsss people to billionaires can afford it very easily.

The localites get a special discount on the fee structure. Also the toppers in the merit list gets a scholarship of some amount in every sem. And the students who tops in top 5 list in first sem are given a special scholarship.

There are a lot of options for extracurricular activities in my institute. A lot of fun and technical events are held throughout the year. There's a basketball ground, a volleyball ground, football and cricker grounds too. There are labs for every practical subjects in here.

Hostel is beautiful and multi stored. There are two hostels separated for boys and girls. There will be feature of triple sharing or double sharing. There's a mess in the hostel. There are multiple washrooms in a single floor.

Seniors are really amazing here. They don't treat us as juniors but younger brothers and sisters. They help us with our studies, projects, internships, placements and mental health. University organizes a alumni meet each year too.

I appeared for the entrance exam conducted by my institute. I got the result after few days and I secured a good rank in it. Then I was called for the counseling in New Delhi where I opted for my branch CSE. And that's it. I got into this institute for 4 years.

Faculties are really good. They are helpful and most of them are industry experts. So they know how any industry does the placement activity and later on the projects. Some faculties are experts in core field and some teach about non core parts. There are a lot of departments here so one faculty from every department is alloted as HOD (Head of Department). And one faculty will be alloted as course coordinator for a specific branch.
