Course Curriculum Overview
I will rate it 8/10. The university has partnered with industry giants such as Microsoft and IBM to provide industry relevant course outcomes to ensure better adaptivibilty while making our carrer in the industry.
Placement Experience
Placements at UPES are generally good, especially for students in Computer Science and related specializations. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, while internships and pre-placement offers may begin earlier.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees for B.tech Cse is 20,02,600 Rs. and it is increasing each year. The year-wise fees is 5,00,000 Rs. Scholarship is provided based on board merit, JEE Percentile and also CPGA of the previous year.
Campus Life
The campus life is amzing with the sceneric views as well as many clubs and chapters let you explore yourself in all other activites such as sports, Dance, Music, Public speaking. The wide range of books for all the courses are there. Also IEEE Explore is the academic partner of the UPES Library.
Admission
I chose UPES due to the placements it provided in the last decade which is good according to many other colleges. Also the campyus is quite beautiful. It is between the mountains making it a pefect vibe maker for students like me who love nature.
Faculty
The faculty is mostly from IIT's, NIT's and BITS having a good industry exposure as well perfect to align our course to industry relevance. The best faculty till now are Dr. Hitesh Kumar Sharma and Dr. Mitali Chugh.
Night Life
Te night life is one of the amazing part inlcuding the jamming. The gym is perfect amd for food multiple options are there including the Dominos, Dunkin in the campus itself. Campus is open for all students till 8:30 PM.
