Course Curriculum Overview
It is good and based on AI which helps us learn. All core subjects which are necessary for placements are taught from semester-1 to to end and makes you ready for placement along with bootcamps and seminars being taken.
Internships Opportunities
Social Internship in 1 year followed by a government or start up based based internship in the 2 year of college. This follows by an industry based internship in 3 year. Because we have internships in all 3 year summer break we are already prepared for placements.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from semester 7 for placements. All top companies come here. The placement cell starts internship from 1st year and then in 2nd too. This creates a differentiator factor. 100% placement is recorded at UPES.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee structure changes over the year. Different types of fees are taken eg for PD they take 20000 and Icard fees is 500. Many different scholaships are available including merit, domicile etc.
Campus Life
UURJA is the annual fest happening at UPES and other than that normal club events happen throughout. NSS is one of the most active club at UPES. It organises social impact drives and keeps the spirit high.
Admission
Because i liked this college and the surroundings. This college has runway and so many other things. Rejection I got from government college but talking about UPES, it is a nice place to be. You will definitley learn something.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. The relation is also good and all faculties are approachable. You can even do research with them. All faculties are best. Exams are mostly conducted in two cycles- mid semester and at the end of the semester with class test, viva and presentations being conducted being conducted throughout the semester for internal marks distribution which accounts for highest percentage in overall grade.
Night Life
There is no nightlife here. As the college is in outskirts and near forest area it is advised to stay indoors only. As there is chances of leopard sighting and all. But other than that you are free to roam in campus indoors which is the best here.
