Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is industry oriented and is updated regularly. there is a strong focus on practical learning and projects. it prepares students well for placements and higher studies. exams are conducted twice a semester and are manageable with preparation

Internships Opportunities

this year, Deloitte, Cisco, Samsung among other provided intenrship opportunities to pre final year students. first years are required to do a social internship and second years must do a startup/government/PSU internships.

Placement Experience

final year students are eligible for placements. companies start offering internships from third year. for 2024-25 batch, highest package was 52 lpa with 17.4 lpa average of top 10% students. around 92% students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is generally around 2.3 lakhs for first and second semester and increases per year by some amount. In total, around 25 lakhs are paid for the complete course excluding hostel fees. Scholarships are available during admission on the basis of UPESEAT, JEE marks, 12th perceentage.

Campus Life

the college has several technical events through various technical student communitites. there's an annual sports fest - SPANDAN, annual cultural fest - UURJA, and several other fests - UKTI, DHOLIDA. library is vast with e-library access. sports and extracurriculars are very versatile and there are multiple options. there are multiple students run clubs and department specific student communities.

Admission

i applied to several different colleges like manipal, thapar etc. chose this college because of its beautiful location, the placement statistics and good reviews. admission is done on the bases of 12th marks, jee scores or UPESEAT exams

Faculty

knowledgable and apporachable faculty who actively support in academics and provide research opportunities. there are two exams per semester - mid semester and end semester examinations. internal assesmments are carried out all semester. the course curriculum is quite relevant.

Night Life

there are 3 cafeterias and 1 food court. entry to the campus remains accessible for off campus students till 7:30 pm. Gym, library and several public seating areas are provided within the campus. the locality is safe to roam around at night

Placement Experience:

Face is good, but many of the companies did blacklisted to a college which is not good for the students. We do have technical classes to improve the students for the placement purpose. as now for our batch, we provide food camp as well.

Good accademic, supportive faculties, decent placements and satisfactory campus facilities

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is decent. Around 75-85% of students of our courses were placed during the placement session.highest package of last year is 35 LPA and average package is 8-9 LPA.i will do job after completing my degree.

Good and value for money

Placement Experience:

Placements are good here after 2nd year students are eligible for placement but I'm not sure. Placement are good too and it's great for agriculture students. The numbers are good of placement and you can check that on their website too

An overview of my university (HNBGU)

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . After completing my course I,ll try to get on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students can take placement from their 3rd year.but there is no much companies which are coming in our college. A few companies are coming which are TCS and infosys and BSNL ,info pie etc. There are only 30 percent students are placed per year. My plan after my graduation is preparing for government exam.

growth beyond academics
