I like the diversity of students in my college, people from different places have come to the college who bring different values and culture
The environment in the college is very good seniors are very helpful to us and make us feel comfortable
The faculty and admin staff is very understanding and have helped me quite a few times

Dislikes

I'm not a fan of reservations in the college since I believe it is not fair to others

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very much in line and relevant to real world. I have learned lots of stuff about financial accounting which I never knew before because of my course also business law has taught me so much about real life situations

Internships Opportunities

There are several companies that come to the college for internships like Deloitte pwc McKenzie dee shaw ey etc they come for various roles like accountants financial roles marketing roles Hrm roles and many more

Placement Experience

I believe the placement cell of my college is very active and good at its job. The student are eligible for placement from the third year many companies have come to our college for placements and many have been placed with great packages

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not aware about the scholarship thing much but I'm sure there must be something relaxation for the weaker section of the society. Apart from that my fees is around 22000 which include all the lab fees tuition fees etc. There is high diversity in my class, people from different backgrounds are present in my class including ST SC OBC pwd etc

Campus Life

My overall experience at Sri Venkateshwara College is very good and very happening there are several events that keep on taking place time to time like the confluence, consortium, arthkumbh, nivesh and many more the most famous fest is NEXUS

Admission

The admission process of my college start from giving the CUET exam on the basis of which cutoffs are set and college are allotted as per your score. The other college i applied to was SRCC whose cutoff I couldn't clear due to normalisation of my score

Faculty

I'm not an expert on the ratio calculation but I believe that the ratio would be around 1:80 for every 80 students one teacher is required for them. Apart from that the faculty is very nice and helpful to us they teach very well. There are two main exams which are internals and the final end sem exams

Night Life

The cafes and library of the college are very well designed for the students there are spacious rooms for studying in the library with silent environment about the night life i don't have much idea since I don't live in the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
