GEU nurtures every single student!

Well learning the verses from Bhagwad Geeta is easy but not our syllabus. It is as tough and passing in GEU with flying colours which I have been managed to do has taken me so much of hard work that if it didn't happened with the placement I managed to crack I would have gone in trauma. So the toughness in academics yeile desirable results and that is what our academics are all about.

There are over 50 companies that comes every year only to take CSE students as their interns. However the competition is quite high for that as requirements are always few but students applying are more. Since I maintained my grades I was hardly overseen in the interview rounds and managed to grab one with Pune's Persistent Systems and was paid 30k as stipend.

Our campus placements are definitely as I mentioned in likes that they are the biggest footing. University has made now a niche for placements as only niche companies are invited because university now has enough tie-ups that placements mark is making a history now. I think GEU is not far off when they will have over 500 companies visiting the campus tp recruit students as currently over 300 companies have come to GEU.

I have or indeed finished with the fees part as I am in my final semester and a total of close 20 lakhs is what I have paid for the course fees. In the first year I also took reservations in the girls hostel of the university and paid around 1.9 lakhs for the same. From next year onwards though I relocated to a PG.

Societies and all are for the local students as outsiders do get entry but they are not made feel inclusive. So in the final year I left all my associations with the societies I was a part of and now I am happy and relieved that I could concentrate fully on studies. Study wise our university can give students as many opportunities as tech fest of the university is fair for all and likewise all the opportunities presented are same for locals and outsiders.

Admission in GEU means biting horses on their back. Just like they run away admission here if not taken or applied at the earliest the seats get full so quickly that one might have to run to other universities. So, admissions aren't tough but one has to apply at the earliest for GECET and for all those who taken boards seriously can pass the entrance and get into GEU.

Our faculties are Ambanis of knowledge as they are as rich in knowledge as Ambanis are in wealth. So what else one needs from there faculties as this is more than enough. Other aspects of them thelay they are humble and helpful for me is secondary as they teach everything so well inside the classrooms that it doens't even matter even if they are strict.

Only in the first year I stayed at the hostel and it was so strict that I could hardly hangout. 7 pm was the intime and even if one is 10 mins late they were asked to wait outside the hostels for an hour. However ever since I have shifted to PG, I have explored a lot of areas in Dehradun and outside as well.
