Course Curriculum Overview

5

Economics Hons is a career filled course as one fan easily make career in that in a lot of sectors. Without economics and knowing unit economics no organization can work. So, our course teaches us on how can we contribute and make an organization grow by better CAGR. So our career is great as growth is the principal learning that it provides us.

Internships Opportunities

5

MoBarclays Capital thus far has been the only organization where I have got to intern. Policy design and research junior was my role and for a 8 weeks long internships, they paid me 47000. DTU invites such organizations every year for us to get internships.

Placement Experience

5

Placements need no catching up here as they are easily the best. The best is DTU don't face the challenge of placing too many students as batch is very median here. Just 180 students and at the end of penultimate year only 150-160 are left for that. DTU invites around 100 companies for this many students and thus most students here are rewarded with placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

USME has the BAE program better and affordable than many private universities. Our fees is 1.16 lakhs for a year and has to be paid by registering before each semester. Scholarships are there however not many as our college is private and therefore on that front not many freebies are there.

Campus Life

5

Perhaps with infrastructure management could have been more watchful. The issue is that our campus is small and even buildings are little old. Our college though because it started in 2017 so new facilities have been brought in but otherwise just one canteen and one library is not enough. Even the open area isn't that high.

Admission

If you are from Delhi and you want to study economics Hons, I don't think there's a better university than DTU for BAE. Only the fees is issue for some otherwise cut-offs too are quite lower than most DU colleges. For me neither the cut-offs nor the fees was an issue and so I opted DTU as it is without a debate the best.

Faculty

5

Faculties are supposed to be rigid and harsh but at USME, it is perhaps the opposite. DTU standards are such that faculties don't have to follow a certain suit or anything and they can do the things they want. PPT is the way as stats and charts is how economics can be taught and that is how they teach us.

Night Life

5

Time in college goes by so early that we do have plan B on most days to go and explore some places. Close to college I have beent to almost all places and have had a lot of fun with my friends. Even the distant places like Murthal and all too I have explored.

The placements that happen in our college is not really relevant to my course. My course is more health and medical focused as it is in psychology. The placements that happen here is more of the other courses like Bcom honors and programs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would straightly rate the faculty of Arts as 3.5- 4. The curriculum provided is overall a little tough as the main disciplines of mine are theory based and need to have a full attention wen having exams. There's a lack of discipline in my college for teaching sometimes. The proffessor sometimes forget to inform abt the class and therefore the time gets wasted for the students like me who came from a farway. The frequency and timming of exams is overall average, the shift timing is also acceptable for me.

the curriuclum is very relevant as whatever needed is being studied i am actually getting a good hands on with the whole syllabus. not at all confusing . it also applies to the real world solutions so yes very helfpul. improvements could be in the form of some time becasue although its interesting it is also very limited ime to cover a lot of things so yes lessen the amount of syllabus or give us more time to complete would be appreciated. freuqency and timings of exams are good just too early yes.

The course curriculum is good I really like Siri that's why I choose this course. But for real world application it's a little bit difficult to adjust it with the real world. What are other subject like r additional subject which is SEC, VAC and AECC those are very real applicable. There should be new teachers in the faculty with a good mind set and new mind set.

If placements are getting home from a university, then they are so consistent that it just keeps happening better and better. Placements of DTU are the biggest powerhouse and the element of surety that DTU has in that is best to none.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the few reasons why i chose this course was the subject combination, my subject combination is economics+ statistics which i can hardly find in any other colleges. In the curriculum there are various case studies that helps us understand the application of the concept in real life. Sometimes i think the teachers rush the course that doesn't clear the concepts so that's where the improvement is needed.
