Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is a very broad course which includes all the aspects of the subject. The syllabus is frequently updated so the study material is relevant and up to date. It is perfect if someone wants a career in this field and if they want to go for masters in the same. The exams occur twice a year and there is adequate time provided for their preparation.

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship cell of our college is pretty active with their work, most of the internships are provided to the commerce department. Some of the companies providing internships in our college are deloitte, paytm, bain etc with stipend up to 50k

Placement Experience

4

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Few companies which have offered placements in our college are deloitte, bain, accenture etc. the highest and average placement being 3600000 and 840000 respectively. My plans after this degree is to opt for MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees which I paid was 29,735 as a general category student. The breakdown is mentioned on the website as admission fees - 5, tuition fees - 180, university development fees - 1500, college sports fees - 750, university student welfare fund - 250 and so on. Most of my batchmates have paid the same amount. Financial aids are provided like merit cum need based scholarships for students of economically weaker sections but strong academic records

Campus Life

5

The fests are pretty average of my college, a recent event was for the freshers, called the odyssey'25, organised by the college. The college library is very big, and provides books of various fields and exams. The classrooms are facilitated with air conditioners, proper working fans and projectors, overall technologically great. The sports facilities are also great, with sports being exercised as cricket, badminton, table tennis, swimming and many more.

Admission

I got this college in the first allotment itself as I put it at a higher preference. Some other colleges I applied to were lady shri ram college, daulat ram college, atma ram sanatan dharma college etc. I did not opt for them because my college provided better infrastructure. A colleges which I did not get accepted into is hindu college for which I needed a better score. The admission process of my college is done through the CSAS portal of Delhi university after giving the CUET exam.

Faculty

4

The faculty amount is adequate for the students, and they are very friendly and approachable. They are well educated and have great knowledge and experience in their respective subjects. There are a total of 7 exams in the first semester, their difficuly level is moderate and their is very less failure rate.

Night Life

5

The college is situated near the Kamla Nagar market, providing various restaurants and stores for the students. Some of the cafes even provide for student discounts. We do have a college hostel, for both girls and boys, with great infrastructure as well. Few famous hangout places are kamla nagar, hudson lane etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The structure of the course was from basic to advanced. The structure made sure that all the basics are cleared specially for those who did not have psychology as a subject in class 12. • The course is well-tuned with the practical aspects that makes us better equipped for tackling real world problems. • Inclusion of field trips every semester should be implemented for better insight about the materials in the course. • Midterms are held in between our semester that is of moderate level that consists of 1 or 2 units, usually for 30 marks. The end semester exams are held at the end of the semester for around 90 marks which has higher level of difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was choosing this course in preference list I found it interesting to study the society, it's main aspect and concepts included in it . I read about Marx , max etc and found some interest in it . The curriculum does tell concept relevant information society but I feel like there is a lot of need to research in Indian societal concept and their work and interaction. Teaching method can be interesting, interactive rather than being boring concept reading in class

Placement Experience:

I feel every student needs to work hard on themselves first and equip themselves with skills which could land them a good placement. There are companies which are partnering with the college and admit interns and applicants by the end of the year. I personally have not applied for the internships or the placements but I intend to in the future.
