Course Curriculum Overview
I just beleievd that whatever I dreamt of is possible based on the actions I take. Whenever I heard economics policies I heard a male politician saying them. The time has changed as our FM is now a women and I also be the one who decides or design the economic policies. Thus I chose Bachelor of Arts in Economics as I want to learn it wholeheartedly.
Internships Opportunities
Auto, Banks, FMCG are the three sectors which have made DTU as it's heartthrob. So I got to intern after the first year in our beloved FMCG Company Nestle. It was for 3 weeks just but they still paid me a stipend of 10 thousand.
Placement Experience
Around 500 companies so far has been a part of DTU placements history. This I am talking about just the East Campus and thus 80-85% students of here are placed every year as each company ha smade their way back to DTU year after year. For our branch which is BAE, the current average stands at 5.5 lakhs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
DTU BAE is under USME college and the fees i paid this year was 1.16 lakhs. Also last year for the same, I paid 1.06 lakhs. So, it has increased by 10,000 and it will continue in the following years. In the first year we also had to pay some registration charges too and that accounted for some 22,000.
Campus Life
There are 5 total buildings in our campus and onlybours is new as rest all are little old. Also ours is the biggest of them all. We have various trees in our campus and a small parking space. Only two wheelers are allowed inside the campus. Then we have some sports facilities too and finally our Engie Fest which though is hosted at the DTU main campus.
Admission
Our admission in USME are through CUET scores. Also, a minimum of 60% in 12th is mandatory as without that admission are not granted. For BAE students can be of any stream but for BBA in USME, students have to of commerce background to be eligible for the same.
Faculty
Our faculties have taught us one thing and that is to delete the word can't from your dictionary. As once you think you can't means you have already made up your mind that you can't. So the change in mindset and shift in gears is what our faculties have made us beleive in. Professor Gagan Singh is the one who has lead this charge.
Night Life
Our gym is small but in Vivek Vihar near our college around 2-3 big gyms are there. Also, a yoga club is there in our university and students can join that as they have morning sessions. For food and all again it's Delhi so one will never be short of options.
