KMC : A Reality over myths

History is a very interesting subject which gives us the idea of from what past we have evolved. The curriculum is very well designed and helps us in academic sense to crack many govt exams. Teachers should include different teaching techniques like in history they can just form a storyline to create interest in students. There is one end sem exams only and difficulty varies but mostly it is of moderate level

The annual course fees is around 16000 but has to also pay accomodation fee of hostel, if provided by the college or of pg, so the monthly expense is around 20-30 K. Examp fees is also paid which around 2000( depending on your subjects). The fees of all the categories is the same and talking about scholarships, college provide scholarships to students of financially week background.

Annual collge fests are held in the month of February. Library provides a huge range of books and a reading room too. Overall experience of campus life is amazing as it helps us to get quality exposure. Classromms have ACs and projectors. Deparmental sports meet is also held. Infrastructure of the college is moderate but is improving. There are various societies which one can join according to interest which gives practical knowledge

I had applied for symbiosis law school for B.A LLB but my keen interest lies in upsc so I choose history hons above law. I got rejected from st. Xavier's College,Mumbai because my 12th percentage was not upto their requirement. Process of admission is very easy. You have to appear for CUET examination which is conducted annually by NTA and then after announcement of results you are required to fill the preferences of colleges and courses then if your marks matches the cutoff of any college that you have filled, you have to accept that allocation that if wanted apply for upgrade and if satisfied fill the fees. After confirmation of your admission college will send you a mail to attend the orientation session.

The faculty to student ratio is nice as our class of 70 is divided into two groups of 35 students and one faculty is placed over 35 students. Dr. Dushyant sir is a man of very friendly nature so it feels very easy for students to connect to them. Overall al the faculty members are nice. There are two types of exams internal and external. They both are of moderate nature hence if one studies one can pass them easily

Night life in North campus is really good.. there are many hangout spots like - tom uncle maggi point,Sudama chai, etc also there are many cafes in kamala nagar. Residential and market localities are safe to hang out with your friends. Hostel and pg in timings varies but it is somewhere around 9:30 to 11:00
