- Reading rommms open till 8:00pm which is very beneficial for self study . .
- Library is well equipped with all sorts of books available, librarians are also very humble.
- Professors are very helpful, they dedicate their 100 percent in teaching
Dislikes
- Lack of Cctv cameras in reading room for the safety purpose.
- Lack of proper regulation of the Canteen .
- Infrastructure needed renovation work , playground is too small , Auditorium is under construction..
Course Curriculum Overview
KoSee I am a civil services aspirants therefore from very beginning I was interested in History so I opted for History honours for my graduation subjects . If we talk about its relevance so it has less relevance in terms of job opportunities as compared to other disciplines.
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of internship opportunities in the college. As a first semester students i have not unlocked too much . I will volunteer in the World Book Fair in Bharat Mandapam organised by NBT Ministry of Education
Fees and Financial Aid
So basically I pay15000 as per semester there is a 10% discount on the EWS category students which I am eligible but I have not applied yet. If you talk about the other students so I have a friend name Prem Kumar who is also in the first year he has hundred percent of fee free because he is from CWSNK quota
Campus Life
Campus Life is very much good except the air pollution which has major concern on the health of the students. We have got 4 library cards therefore we can avail 4 books from Library at time . The opportunities for extracurricular activities are too much for example fest occurs from February to April then I have selected as a volunteer in the World Book Fair which will take place in Bharat Mandapam. So there are lots of opportunities in North campus for the personality development of students
Admission
See for my History honours my first preference was St.Stephens College second was Hindu College , third was Hansraj College and the fourth was Kirori Mal college. As per my CUET scores I got Kirori Mal college which as compared to other colleges is good in terms of faculty, infrastructure, NIRF rankings and etc.
Faculty
See I am in second semester, faculty students ratio is very good in core subjects but in other subjects such as GE,VAC,AEC,SEC ratio is not good . Sometimes single professor takes class of 100 students . If we talk about the performance of teachers then they are very good and are easily approachable. If we talk about examination so there are two examinations in each semester one is class test another is final University exam .
Night Life
There are facilities of Gym in college and outside area . I can't tell you more about the nightlife since I have not experienced. So I am not a appropriate person to comment on this area . One thing which i experienced in morning walk that police are stationed at every location during night . So the security level I think is good .
