Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is really good and broad based focusing on my overall development in history subject, the way it's taught also helps me in my upsc preparation that makes it one of the main reasons why I chose it My problem with the exams is that the timing of exams was really early in the morning This should not be especially in winters since students that come from far away have to depart from their homes very early and it's really cold

Internships Opportunities

1

There are many opportunities for internships that are provided by the college and many societies also help in that However I am not much aware of all that since I am a humanities student and such things mostly concern students from commerce and science courses My focus is only on govt job exams and uspsc

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fee was around 13500 this included all tuition fee, registration fees, admission fees, development fees and other compulsory charges My batchmates who are mostly from general category our around 14-15000 As an at student I am eligible for post metric scholarship, national scholarship portal scholarships, merit cum means financial assistance

Campus Life

4

Campus life pretty good Talking about events, there is an upcoming sports event coming organised exclusively for the history department called spardha The accessibility and range of books is satisfactory with various books and available in the college library Facilities are descent with a computer lab in near the library and a boys common room with sports equipment History department also organises various speaker sessions like I unsung heroes

Admission

One of the main reasons I chose this college is that it is reputed college of Delhi university north campus,it has famous alumni and the competition is high for the college I applied various other colleges like Hindu and at Stephen's college but the reason I couldn't get admission there is because my cuet score was not enough To get admission in my college you have to pass the cuet ug exam The score required varies according to which category you belong Average score for general category was around 850 Cuet is the only exam you can give to get into this college

Faculty

5

The number of faculties is really impressive, you can approach them whenever you want and they help you out. The history faculty is my favourite as it's the main one for me and gives a space for history students to connect with each other and represent the history department, we have a society for it that is legacy There is no specific faculty that I don't like all are good in their own place I could mention the major science faculties because I don't get to have much interaction with their students The exams are relatively easy and it that hard Students clear easily For the first Sem we had 6 exams Out of them 3 were of dsc, 1 of ge,1 of aec and 1 of vac Dsc paper was of 90 marks, vac paper of 30 marks, aec paper of 30 marks and ge paper of 90 marks

Interview Experience

3

I had to give the cuet ug exam for admission into the college However the exam was conducted In a digital way through computers There was no group discussion or interview required The exam I gave had questions related to what I studies in my 12th standard and relevant to ba course

Night Life

4

After a tiring day I usually go to a really famous tea stall in the campus called Sudama chai It is the most famous tea stall in the entire campus area Inside the college we have the Ashoka lawn which is a beautiful spot in the college where you can relax with you fiends and take pictures as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

I will rate the course at Delhi Univeristy 8 out of 10. As a student, I'm receiving offline study materials via the post, however, you have to pay around 500 rupees for the books and notes when filling the fees every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course curriculum includes learning across 2 feilds like i have economics and maths and later we can continue 4th year to get hons degree . So its really gives time for a person to test himself or herself about which field to go on for as specialization. The difficulty level for this course is easy to moderate.
