Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is quite relevant and also practical in real life. Along with economics we can also study data science which helps build practical skills for the future. The difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are given from 2nd year and pay great importance to it. Many good companies come for these and conduct interviews with a decent stipend. Roles like financial assistant, business analyst assistant are given.

Placement Experience

4

The placement for dtu usme average is around 8 lakhs and the jobs are offered from 3rd year. There are internship opportunities also provided from 2nd year and they pay great importance to it. The highest package is 19 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the years according are - 117200, 127200, 133200, 133200..the tution fees for 1st year is 62500 for 2nd year 67500 for the 3rd year 70500 and for the 4th year 70500. The economically weaker section fund is 6000 for all years.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is interactive with many active societies for sports, academic and extracurricular activities . Many competitions and fests are held. The library is very efficient with all the required books.

Admission

I applied in du and got into kirori mal college but I chose dtu usme because I think the curriculum is much better. The addmission process for dtu usme is online registration on cmac portal and admission is based on the cuet score of maths english and gt.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is between 1:10 to 1:15 and the faculties are approachable. The economics faculties are nice and helpful. There are 7-6 subjects and hardly 1-2 student fails. The difficulty is moderate.

Interview Experience

4

No there was no group discussion or extra written test. The admission was based on the cuet score conducted and subjects for admission process considered were maths , english and general test. That was all.

Night Life

4

Around the campus there are some good cafes to hangout at and a few malls as well which are near the college. These places help relax after a long day of classes. The metro stations are quite near which makes it easy to explore.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very active. They hold internships round the year and provide reliable placement at the end of last year. Placement mainly depends upon per student skill rather than the course variability and considering most of the humanities courses are less employable if taken only on the basis of course. However skills are the main deciding factor
