- I think our labs and location both are stupendous.
- Food joints outside the university like the Indrani Cafe and others are marvelous.

- Daily uniform looks a tiring job as we are not allowed in civil uniform inside the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Frequency of our exams are very proper. Unlike other universities where exams are decided at the start of the semester ours are done in consultation with the faculties. So, therefore I feel that UPES is the best as our faculties can go on with their own pace. Students after once revised the full syllabus are asked to appear for the exams.
Placement Experience
UPES students have to be ready in the last year as both the semester placements activities keeps on having its toll. Also, a student qualified for a placement can only appear for the interview on the companies that are offering a 2x paycheck as otherwise once the placements are done means done at UPES.
Fees and Financial Aid
UPES School of Computer Science is which holds CSE classes of UPES. There are around 10 courses in CSE itslef. Mine is CC & VT and therefore our batch is small. However fees for core CSE or specialized the fees is same and that is 5 lakhs a year. Even the hostel fees is same for all boys as it's 1.6 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
What about beautiful campus and facilities are all ageless timeless or rather legendary facilities. We have nearly 12-14 buiings besides hostels and two cafes as well. However cafes off campus are more better so we mostly hop there. Our sports facilities are always full of students and students are also given a chance to perform during our sports day named Spandan.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are like 5 blocks and four of those blocks are totally identical as they have same rooms and same kind of facilities. Students are not allowed to enter other their blocks of hostels after 8 pm. Curfew time though is 10 pm for boys and 8.30 for girls which I feel is quite fair.
Admission
For Engineering students have to appear for UPESAT and likewise for law students the entrance is ULSAT, for management students it's UPESMAT. So aptitude test for likewise almost all the special courses and admission in B.Com, BSc and BA are done without entrance. Those students are provided admission depending upon their 12th score.
Faculty
Exams at UPSE are tough because our faculties check how dedicated we were. So faculties do test us really high and it's not easy to be on the same page with them but have to agree with them as we don't have any other choice. Nearly 4 out of 10 students fail to clear all subjects in each semester and that is a poor ratio.
Night Life
Night life in Dehradun is top class as our college is next to the mountains and places like Mussoorie is just an hour ride. So maggie point, sunset point and all those things like the Mall Road of Mussoorie are the places we go to as and when we get time.
