UPES Dehradun has best infrastructure!

Well, CSE with AI & ML means the best combo to cater today's workforce demand. Our course involves a lot of corporate problems and thus we are prepared with that mindset. Building strong needs a strong foundation and our course has that exactly.

UPES has seen placements in range of 50 lakhs and more and that because of the stupendous tie-ups that our placement cell has seen. Our CSE entries batch size is of 1200 and out of which 600 were placed with an average salary of 18 lakhs and now one can debate if any other college in Uttarakhand apart from IIT Roorkee provide such placements.

UPES School of Engineering is best engineering school. GEU can debate that they are but numbers don't lie and they are in our favour. Our fees is 5 lakhs a year for CSE. Also, since I am from an other state I have registered at university hostels and fees for that is 1,60,000 a year. So other charges and all makes it around 7 lakhs a year.

UPES campus gives a lot of requisite to sports and it's because of that we have a sports fest Spandan. Now enjoyment is also important as studying alone won't b enough for an overall development and therefore every March our university also hosts a major event called Urjaa.

There are five boys hostel inside the campus and all of them are same as facilities in each hostel are same. However the fees I fell is slightly higher as it's 1.6 lakhs a year and sharing room at that price is indeed expensive as PGs are available nearby at a much lesser cost.

UPES also accepts other entrance scores but majority of students come directly through UPES assessment test. So, on the basis of those numbers we are alloted the branch and also scholarship to students performing well in that entrance. So entrance is more or less mandatory but students are free to give it individually rather than being a part of central test.

Onus on faculties are high always as they are monitored by the management. If the results are not in favour they are held responsible and because of that they put one yard extra while teaching. AI&ML needs extra attention as both involves a lot of practical and our faculties are always up for the mounting thing they have to do semester after semester.

UPES is surrounded by a lot of hangout places like Maggie Point, River Point, Suicide Point, and Moti Sunrise Spot to name just a few. Most students because stay in hostel do hunt for cafes and close to our university we have cafes like Indicafe, Oakwood Cafe and Swadu Cafe.
