Remarks

The experience in CMRIT has been memorable where I got to meet people from different cultures and know them.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

CMRIT Bangalore is affiliated to VTU. The curriculum for MCA under VTU is of 3 years (6 semesters) which include 5 subjects per semester along with 3 practicals. Students are encouraged to do mini projects apart from college projects. The exam pattern for our batch is 80-20. Workshops and industrial visits are conducted regularly. College timings are from 8 am-4 pm.

Placement Experience

4

Students are enrolled in TYL program intended for placement training. There are 5 levels of training out of which minimum 3 levels need to be cleared in order to be eligible to appear for placements. This program helped me a lot in preparation for placement. I have secured an internship through campus placement.

College Events

4.5

CULTURA College fest is organised every year of which DJ night is the most exciting part. The ethnic day is when you get to see the colours of various cultures. Diwali Eve, Kannada Rajyotsava and other such events are celebrated collectively by the students and the lecturers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for Admission through Management Quota is 1.3 LPA throughout the course. The fee structure for Admission through PGECT is 80K. Placement training fees Rs 1500 (one-time payment). VTU exam fees are Rs1600 approx per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

CMRIT scholarship is available for students depending on various criteria such as marks obtained in VTU exams, the annual income of family etc.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many student clubs to which one can join and showcase talent . Maker space comes as the best help for the students with an entrepreneurial mind. The labs are well equipped. Annual sports meet is held every year.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network and senior students are very helpful. They guide you in the best way possible.

Admission

I got admission through Management quota. The admission process was quite simple. I was referred by my friend already pursuing the MCA course in the college. I took admission in the month of August 2017. The admission to this course requires one to have appeared for one of the exams Karnataka PGCET, KMAT.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are helpful and one can approach them anytime for guidance. The course syllabus' is completed in time and the required notes are always provided by the lecturers. Every student is assigned to a mentor, to whom one can approach for necessary help.
