I like the faculty of college they are just brilliant

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum of bcom hons is very practical and very relevant according to me it prepares is well for real world applications the exams are basically medium level and can be easily passed aswell.i like bcom hons and decided to pursue it because I was interested in commerce and finance

Internships Opportunities

a lot of internships are available in college the internship cell is very active, recently pwc and Deloitte also recruited interns from our college,mostly internship are in field of accounting finance and sales

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly fees in 18741,which is pretty affordable according to me,also the fees for my batchmates is almost the same as well,also the college offers multiple financial aids to students which can be availed on the basis of income certificate and they are actually very easy to avail aswell.

Campus Life

the annual fest of Deshbandhu college is sabrang which is held mostly in February March it's a two day event and is one of the best events of Deshbandhu college.the sports and extracurricular activities are decent in Deshbandhunu college aswell.

Admission

i choose deshbandhu over other DU colleges because it had a great Nirf ranking and honestly I don't regret choosing DESHBANDHU college,the process to get into is giving cuet exams,which are held mostly in june july.tje cutoff was 700/800 for Deshbandhunu

Faculty

i think the faculty of this college is according to me commerce department has excellent professors Seema ma'am deepak sir etc are some of the best teachers I've met according me they teach everything in detail and student teacher ratio is around 50:1 total exams are 7

Night Life

the nightlife is pretty good at Deshbandhunu college,it's very safe for womens aswell the college does not have a hostel but there are a lot of good PGs around college.tje hangout place near my college is nehru place.the library and gym is very good as well

As i am interested in finance and accounts from my 11th standard so that is the reason for selecting the b. Com (hons) For my graduation degree. The curriculum focuses more on academic not on real world experience. The level lf exams are medium not too hard and not too easy the curriculum can be improved if they focus more on reali life teaching and skills. The exams held semiannually and the timings are 9:30 AM onwards.

My college gives placement to the students after passing the course I didn't get any offers of placement because I am studying in a course My college has highest placement of rs 48 lakhs per annum There are no specific percentage to get placement they include your whole college activity to give placement to you I am studying ca and bcom is required for doing them

I choose this course because I wanted to study all the commerce subjects in to the depth and that's what this course offers me . This course awares me that how can a manage a office, its helps to develop us financial accounting of different types of businesses , helps us to the laws that are necessary for a person working in any field of commerce. They should remove the unnecessary additional subjects that create a lot of hurdles in the overall curriculum of the students . Their teachers should perform activities related to the main core subjects. Timing of exam is in the morning and it's difficulty level is not too high its depends on the students how they have studied their course

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Placement Experience:

Many banks and accounting firms and Big 4 which have become potent when it comes to placements are the ones who offers placements. The best part is that post Covid, the inflation has gone up and so are the basic salary norms too as all studenys are offered in the range of 5-7 lakhs annually.
