The activeness of the societies of our college
The faculty of the commerce department are very interactive and helpful.
The college conducts various seminars and sessions.

Dislikes

The Wifi of the college is quite slow and also the network is an issue
The canteen have many fans which are not working
There are no sports grounds for football, basketball

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum and old and rigid but with the introduction of AEC, SEC and VAC, which the students choose to study throughout their semester and because of which we are able to gain knowledge about various other topics

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee for the first year is 19000 but it varies based on your quota (ex- an ST student will have lesser fee) . The college provides scholarships for students who fall under economically weaker section of the society.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is good but it does lack some sports facilities which should be added for more extra curricular activities. The name of the college's annual fest is Sabrang which is organised on every even semester

Admission

NIRF ranking was one reason for my preference to the college, as the college comes in Top 13 colleges in the country. Apart from that, the college societies are very active and interactive with the students and we can participate in a lot of activities

Faculty

The faculty members are very interactive and approchable for doubt clearances and any advice on exams. Especially in commerce department they conduct various activities for students. The number of faculty members are good

Night Life

The campus around the college is very good. It has a lot of places to eat including cafes and fast food places and also has a market nearby. The college is in a posh area of Kalkaji with places like CR Park and Nehru Place nearby

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
