I like the crowd of college like the most of the crowd here is pretty decent and approachable you can talk to seniors easily and they will guide you and can help you.
I also like the socities of college the ecell placement ce commerce society all are pretty good

There are not many things i dont like about this college i like most of the things
I love everything about this college from infra to faculty

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is pretty manageable and very decent overall,it does prepare you for the real world applications as most concepts are tought in computers .the difficulty level of exams are moderate to easy which is good.

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 18741 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for me as a bcom hons student was 18741 ,which is pretty affordable compared to other DU colleges the fees for my batchmates from other categories was around the same as Well.also there are multiple scholarships and financial aids available to students of deshbandhu which are provided on the basis of income certificate and is pretty easy to avail.

Campus Life

The campus life here is pretty chill very social life we have,the name of annual fest of deshbandhu is sabrang it is held in the month of march or april .the infrastructure if college is pretty decent ovell no complaints in that.the sports and Extracurriculars are pretty good aswell.

Admission

I choose deshbandhu over other colleges because of its good nirf ranking which was all india 13,i did not apply to other colleges also the admission process is CUET cutoffs in cuet for deshbandhu was 700/800 . The most preferred course was bcom hons and eco hons.

Faculty

The faculty here at deshbandhu is excellent i like the way our teachers explain everything in a very simple way the student teacher ratio is about 50:1 which is pretty good in my opinion. The faculty i like is sonam maam deepak sir etc because how approachable they are and they explain the concepts in a very simple way.the total exams are 7 which involves 3 compulsory,1 general elective ,1 sec ,1 vac and 1 aec

Night Life

The night life is pretty safe here,especially for womens is pretty safe .also gym is good has all required equipments. Cafeterias also has good menu library is excellent very big and has all required study material.The famous hangout place is nehru enclave and cr park which is very near to college

Fun life at college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom. Hons curriculum prepares you well for real world experiences also. Like i learned tally and excel during my 2 year of college. I think teachers should combine theoretical knowledge with more practical experiences and practical knowledge. Exams usually completes in 1 month and the timings mostly for core exams are 9:30am-12:30pm. Exams ate easy, just do pyqs in a well good manner

Placement Experience:

The Placements in my college are mostly limited to marketing, HR and basic level Finance Jobs. You could expect a Decent placement of 4-6 lacs in your last semester. In your previous semester you could apply for internships. However not everyone gets placed.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Placement Experience:

Many banks and accounting firms and Big 4 which have become potent when it comes to placements are the ones who offers placements. The best part is that post Covid, the inflation has gone up and so are the basic salary norms too as all studenys are offered in the range of 5-7 lakhs annually.

DU Student Life

I choose this college because of several reasons. Firstly I was getting my desired course in this college. Secondly, the college is just 15-30 mins away from my house and its easier for me to travel and i dont really have to move in pg. Thirdly, I checked the NIRF ranking and NACC grade of the college and it was pretty good.
