Likes

I really like the environment of my college , it's so positive everyone here is super nice I would say.
The faculty members are too nice. Teachers are actually approachable.
The quality of the infrastructure is too good the campus is really neat and clean.

Dislikes

There is one major issue that is attendance. 66.67 is the minimum one person requires in all subjects.
There are too many cultural events happening throughout the college.
I think the focus is less on studies and bookish knowledge and more on real life practical exposure and experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees is quite reasonable I would say all though it's the most expensive course in all of college. It's 36,470 and it has increased as last year it was less. However after every year the yearly fees decreases for already studying students but the 1st year fees increases.

Campus Life

The campus life is too good as I also think that my college has one of the most beautiful campus across Delhi University. For the clubs and societies I've joined 2 of them . One is Mercatus that is the marketing society of my college and the entrepreneurship cell.

Admission

The admission process was through CUET , I chose this college because of the things I've heard about its reputation. And how nice of a college it is. Also my college has better infrastructure then most of the colleges affiliated to Delhi University.

Faculty

The faculty and student relationship is really good . Atleast I like all my teachers they are super nice and super approachable. We have to give a total of 7 exams but if you've chosen practical subjects in your sec and vac then you've to give only 5 theory exams.

Night Life

I don't know much as I live in delhi only i haven't been around my college at night. There's no hostel also all the outstation students have to opt for PGs. One of the most famous hangout place near our college is satya niketan market which is basically a food market.

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Placement Experience:

JMC life my way

i actually did not apply to any other college , the reason being that I am pursuing ca and needed a govt college to balance my attendance along with it , govt colleges do not put a lot of burden as to attendance. so I applied to du and then created my preference list and got JMC according to it and tbh I do not at all regret coming to JMC. the admission experience was really nice , I was happy to get into DU and that too such a nice college , I think that JMC gets less recognition than it should get. admission process is through giving cuet exam, filling in the preference list and the according to the cutoff we get admission...Read More

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745. I had 756 and so I had to take admission here and CUET UG entrance is the only way of getting in JMC or any colleges of Delhi University....Read More
