Remarks

College life is really good with colleges but teachers don't interact that much other than studies. moreover courses are less in this college in comparison with other colleges of DU and is out of campus which makes it a bit solitaire with the main campus.

Entrance Preview

The admission is based on cut off percentage (best 4 including one language subject).This college has a good infrastructure and has affiliation from University of Delhi. It is near noida which made me to choose this college and is nearest to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a bit boring as it doesn't have much practical approach and most part of the syllabus is theoretical. Besides this, faculty is satisfactory.

Internships Opportunities

This course doesn't have much scope for companies to hire students. For internship program, you must be really talented with other fields of interest to get a job.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are less in such courses. However we can qualify for others jobs through entrance exams like SSC, Civil Services, etc.

College Events

College Festivals are good enough. Everyone have the opportunity to participate in such events as these are big and enjoyable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for students coming from weak economical backgrounds. Loans are not available.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good and enjoyable. Major drawback is that it doesn't conduct students election. Gender ratio is around 50:50.Extracurricular activities are enormously held in the college for example Acting, singing, Debates etc. Moreover, Sports are not up to the mark as only few sports/games are played in the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni relations are just so so. But relationship between juniors and seniors are healthy and friendly and the college is ragging free.

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

It is a place to develop yourself.

Placement Experience:

I think from 3 year 5th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies that comes are Deloitte,ibm etc. i have not too much knowledge about that but i think the median package is 4-5 lakh per annum and highest is 10 lakh. I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
