- There is a network connectivity issue in the college premises
- College campus is really small . Even Wall colour of classrooms is not good . Our clothes gets dusty if we touch walls by mistake .
- Administration staff is quite rude and delays student work alot.
Course Curriculum Overview
I personally like finance and accounting field and in bcom hons we widely study about these majors . This led me to opt for this course. All the subjects and their curriculum are great . We can really use them in our real life . Like we study income tax and e filing , financial accounting, tally prime, companies act, etc which are all required as a foundation for a business and accounting. But I feel some subjects should be kept practical only instead of writing anything about it in exams . As a du student we all must have encountered writing unnecessary pages for answers just to make our answer look more suitable. I feel teachers should on quality over quantity of answer as it can improve our learnings.
Fees and Financial Aid
For bcom hons course , yearly fees for us is somewhere between 23000-26000. It varies on yearly basis like in first year it was 24,700 but now it is 23,500 . There is no caution or lab fees kind of things for us . But exam fees differs student to student based on their subjects choosen that whether any subject has practical lab classes or not . Overall the course is affordable for a student from commerce background
Campus Life
As i discussed earlier, the campus of this college is very small . It does not have a lawn or open area where students can chill and roam around . There is a sports complex for college but it is also outside the college premises like it is not connected with college .our college does not celebrate all the festivals that are being celebrated around other du colleges . They organise an annual fest of college called ' saarang'. But other societies actively working around. They try to conduct different workshops and events possible and every society conducts their annual fest in February.
Admission
When I got admission in college, cuet was just introduced a year back and nobody had clarity about exam patterns and what to study specifically. I got a score somewhere around 632/800 due to normalisation because some of my exams were really easy and i performed well but again in normalisation if your exam is easy you'll definitely loose marks . That's why my score decreased. And on the top of it , I filled my preference list without even searching about all the colleges and formed a typical list which had no relation with my marks . To be honest mata sundri college was never my choice . But I had to take it because I putted all the potential colleges below it .
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1:20 approx . Though commerce faculty is really approachable. Most of the teachers even take doubt of students individually. But I personally don't like business mathematics teachers. Nobody's able to understand what she's teaching . But on the other hand there are several other subject teachers who teaches so well like gurpreet mam, areema mam, himanshu sir, etc. college conducts mid sem exams in every semester that are quite competitive.
Night Life
This college does not provide hostel facility so don't know much about night outings but overall area is quite sophisticated. Food of this college canteen is 3/5 . But some eateries near ito metro station sells really delicious food.
