Course Curriculum Overview

4

* The curriculum I selected to enter into IT , so it was fine and as per my goal. * The curriculum provides you with the basic understanding of the subjects and prepare for real world problems. * The curriculum instead of providing with all the details could focus more on specific areas , I mean studied all things but I was not master of one. * The exams used to happen every semester and unit test every month.

Internships Opportunities

3

* The internship opportunity was provided by Akash labs, and there we used to learn and practice our coding skills. For the first 3 months we were not paid anything but after that were paid 5,000 per month till placement. * The project was all about frontent development and outcomes were to make it more interactive to all users over mobile and desktops.

Placement Experience

4

* From 7th semester onwards , students starts giving interviews. * Companies like Infosys, LNT , Goldman sachs visited the college in my time. * Highest package was 7 LPA and minimum package was 3 LPA. * 35 percent of students placed from my batch. * My plans after getting the degree was to solve my finance and living standard issue.

Fees and Financial Aid

* I have paid 75,000 in every 6 months. And I paid that in full. * Tution fees was 8,000 per month. Registration fees, development fees and all other fees was combined 4,500 per month. * For other batch mates who were local to that state were paying only 50,000 per year. * The state government was providing the scholarship equals to the college fee.

Campus Life

4

* We used to have local festivals as well festivals from othere states were also celebrated from time to time. Annual fest like IKEA used to happens after every 2 years. * The books were available in libarary , but the only issue was that it was very limited and not sufficient for all the class. * The classroom was equipped with cameras, digital monitor and speakers. * We used to have annual sports events and various cultural activities from time to time. * There was one student group for all the sport and events in that college.

Hostel Facilities

3

* The hostel was provided with 18/7 running water and drinking water cans in all floors. They were cleaned twice in a week. * Meal quality was lower than the average. I found poori to be more oily and biryani to be more spicy causing bad digestion. * The students can register it through the finance department , I mean where fees are paid. * I rented a room after my second year of my college as i could not affford the increasing cost of the hostel . By the 3rd year it reached to 90,000 per year.

Admission

* I applied for 2 more colleges but selected this as it was my under mu budget. * No, I was not rejected only things was that their fees were high and also not given enough time to payback. * A student can participate in a test oragnised at state level or through direct contact to college after an interview. The student should proper education background for whichever course he or she is applying.

Faculty

4

* The faculty member to student ratio was 1:15. Some faculties were really awesome like friends. They were approachable after class and having good behaviour. * I like one facutly from first year and she was very kind to all the students and I liked her classes. Because she used to teach well and in an understandable way. * One such faculty whom I didn't liked was Pramod, Swati and Gopinath. The reason is simple as they were bias towards students. Punishing students for little mistakes. * total 7 subjects will be there in each semester.

Interview Experience

4

* No it was just a simple questionnaire evaluating what I have studied and how I am good at studies. * The process for admission is simple , you have to have any score from state level exam or from your own state. * I prepared for my self introduction and what all I know from my last exam that is puc or 12th standard.

Night Life

4

* Gym, cafeteria , libarary was all open upto 9 pm and begins at 9 am daily in all weekdays. * Campus timing was from 9 am in the morning till 3:30 pm in the evening. Hostel was all open thorugh the day and limited to 10pm in night. * Famous hangout place was CCD and cafteria and even in the sports ground.
