Likes

The campus as it in itself is very large
The people I've meet up until now in the college
The variety of societies available to choose from

Dislikes

The lack of availability of proper canteen facility
Poor drinking water and bathroom hygiene
Lack of proper faculty in SAC , VAC ,AEC Courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very outdated with the students being forced to apply for hindi or english in their GE, Causing a lot of trouble, a lot the subjects in optional courses seem to be irrelevant or just filler subjects to fill up the slots.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 17098 per year

Internships Opportunities

Not sure regarding any of the internship opportunities available as of now . But I have heard a large number of companies come in for internship with over 100+ offers being given to students annuallly.

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester, There are about 150+ offers being made my companies.Comoanies such as Deloitte,De Shaw visit the campus for placement. I plan to pursue FRM along with my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Up until now have paid 17089, not sure regarding upcoming fee details.There has been no other charges in the form of caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges. Not sure regarding the amounts of scholarships available and fee structure of other categories

Campus Life

It's just been a month since joining the college so I'm not sure regarding all the facilities available.The infrastructure is decent but there is a lack of proper drinking water facility, The classrooms are outdated with a lot of computers not working in the lab.There seems to be a large variety of societies.

Admission

I had applied to Christ University, St Josephs College of Commerce,St.Xaviers from all where I got accepted. But I decided to choose Ramjas to pursue my professional goals as it seems to be more flexible to manage the course along with my professional exam. The admission process is through CUET

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is less then normal , at times the faculty is not able to control the crowd or classrooms.The course structure feels outdated with no new or up to date curriculum. There needs to be improvements in lab and practical exposure than just theoretical study.

Night Life

Not sure regarding nightlife in campus as ice always preferred to roam around outside the campus the gym only stays open till 5 with not a proper timing.The libraries seems to close at that time as well.The cafeteria is not proper and has poor infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

The Placements in my college are decent. In third year, the students become eligible for campus placements whereas there is a huge event named INCREMENTUM for job and internship fair wherein many HR mangers from companies and Non profit organisations like Cognizen Innovations, Pehchaan - The Street School, etc. takes interviews of interested students for internships as well as jobs.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.
