Likes

Allot of improvement is needed in our college related to management there is lot of problem we are facing
There is no girls in our campus so you will not get good social interaction with girls
There are some good professor but some are unable to explain the things at student level

Dislikes

I am very disappointed with the management and person who evolve in management
Bus service is very poor you will regret to take bus service
Infrastructure is also not very good but yes there are some professor who encourage you

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good but the thing is that you have to learn the things very you have to submit your own real world project in 2 nd years and exam level is medium it is not to hard as compare to iits examination you get option to attempt

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 127000 in a year and it is divided into 2 semester so in 1 st sem you may have to pay 62000 and in second sem the rest of the amount subtracted from 127000. Scholarship for pwd category is available on NSP SC/ST have to pay 124000

Campus Life

There is no club so don't expect any Co Criclum activities but there is a famous event that occur every year known as janagni it is very popular between gkvians there are a lot of activities happens at this time

Admission

Due to my lots of mistakes my jee percentile is very less 83.23percentile and i have to prepare for gate so in this college i am getting computer science so that's why i have taken this college and it is near to my home state

Faculty

Faculty are good they help you if you want to study they will guide you makes their efforts towards you but the thing is that there are less faculty of this type in some subject you have to learn the things your own

Night Life

So there are small open gym area in your main campus that is FET but you can also go in university gym that is located in dayanand stadium there is a library in fet but you can also go in university library . There are lots of place in haridwar to chill

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

Doon University - A descent college for btech course for residents of dehradun

Placement Experience:

The placements of this particular college are not good as much as i have heard about the placements of this university's before batches. They are still fighting and trying to get better placements for the senior batches which I wish they get it done, or i dont know what will happen in my time. The 7th or 8th semester is the one from which the students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies which offered were TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, ICICI Bank etc. the average package of the college is about 4-5 LPA. Onlu 50-60% of the students or lesser are getting placements in the college. My plans are to do Mtech afterwards i complete my btech course in this college.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
