Remarks

The university is good for the students who really wamt to achieve something good. They also provide the thesis facility for the m.sc student which is normally not given by any other college during m.sc program.

Exam is totally fair based upon what we studied in previous classes.Ug is based upon the 11th and 12th standard syllabus while Pg entrance exam is based upon the graduation level syllabus divided into three categories basically.

Placement Experience

College does provide internship for the student but only for those student who are capable of doing that particular type of work. One can achieve so many achievements by studying well in the university.

Every event in the university/college is celebrated with full enthusiasm and with full spirit. College use to celebrate every event with the different themes based upon the event or the function or occasion.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We can say the fee structure is feasible but for some people it may be expensive because the structure comes with different fee structure for different courses based on the interest of the student who is enrolled for the study.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available along with it loan facility is also available for the students who are interested in the scheme. Scholarship is given to the students who scored good marks in the entrance examination.

Campus Life

Sports activities are also there in the university for the students to encourage them to take part in certain extracurriculars activities. It increases there interest in various sports also. Every student use to take part in the sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Every student or senior is very helpful for the other student. They provide every type of help to the Juniors in order to provide the notes and all other stuffs that are beneficial for the other students.

Admission

I got the admission through entrance exam. We have to sppear in that exam and the counselling held based upon the marks we get in that entrance exam.After the first counselling there are 2 more counselling which can be attended further.

The faculty in the college is good. We get every little thing that we are supposed to have for our study purpose. Teachers are friendly and helpful at the same time. They help every student in their study.

Placement Experience:

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector.
