The agriculture college review

The course curriculum is good overally but also kind of too much for a student to cover as you got 10-12 courses in a semester to study. The frequency and timing of the exams should be adjusted so that students may got appropriate time to prepare for them

In the final semester we got for RAWE in which we work with farmers at various locations and also work in KVK located in different districts in our state. Also we got field work to do so that we can use our practical knowledge.

Normal fees for candidates is about 17k-23k per semester. If you opted for self finance seat (paid seat) you have to pay 40k + the normal fees of that sem. Other categories will also have the same fee as the normal seat until unless you have been admitted through self finance seat. There are plenty of scholarships like kalpana chawala scholarship for single girl child and top rankers of class also get scholarships, also those who are admitted through ICAR get an ICAR scholarship.

Overall experience is good as there are certain clubs like music clubs and all also the sports complex is great with a gym free for students to workout and the campus is beautiful located In a valley surrounded by tea gardens and snowy mountains.

I applied to IISER and other medical Colleges but can't get admission due to my numbers still, I got admission here at the end through CUET test in addition to CUET you have to fill the counselling form of the college timely only then you are eligible for admission here through college counseling

Faculty is good as they are mostly researchera so they possess a great knowledge of the course they are teaching and also do have a great interest in teaching. The exams are continuous and can be sometimes difficult as you may never get the required time for them.

No interview was done during admission I just gave CUET exam and got selected on the basis of its score. You just have to give CUET and also appy for the counselling throught the university website, if you have give CUET and not applied for counselling in the university's portal you will not be eligible for counselling.

Nightlife is not much as hostels close at 7 in winters and 8 in summers with not much of a nightlife as everything closes and you will never found a single soul roaming at night as all shops and every cafe is close at 9.
