Course Curriculum Overview

4/10 as the curriculum is outdated and requires more bookish knowledge rather than real world experience.new modern courses should be implemented in the college and new topics should be taught rather than just using tempting words

Internships Opportunities

Internship are available off campus. In campus internship are poor and mostly are free without any stipend Projects are outdated and no one focuses on development of project idea. Internship advices and guidance are given

Placement Experience

6th sem students are eligible for placements. IBM panasonic byjus BHEL visited the campus for placement Highest package was 15L. 70% students got placed I'll pursue masters in computer science and engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 128000. I have paid my first semester along with Csab so it costed me 62000 then 58000 for next semester. Tuition fees per year is 128000 There's no admission fees. Only the 5000 for CSAB JOSA FEES. Everything including lab and development is included in year fees. Hostel fees including mess is 65000. For reserved seats it's 60000 State scholarship are available for students

Campus Life

Janagani is the fest that happens every year in the month of feb- march Ample of books are their including academic and GATE Technology is outdated. It needs to be upgraded Sports is poor. No attention towards it and no one wants to take part also

Hostel Facilities

Chair table fan almirah watercolor Meal is poor. No taste and no health benifits. Cooked carelessly Physical reporting is required for hostel registration Bhagwati Puram, jurs country or Bhadrabaad are places for accommodation

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

I only applied for this college and got selected. The admission process happens with JOSSA/CSAB counciling and if the seats are vacant the spot round will help in admission For CSE BRANCH 3 lakh is the closing rank

Faculty

Student to teacher ratio is quite good and teacher often help when asked for. Teachers can be approached anytime in their office and can help with doubts Computer science faculty is good in aspects of enthusiasm and environment Physics faculty is poor There's one End semister exam and 2 sessional exams.

Night Life

Night life happens in hostel only. Nothing to explore. Closing timing is 10Pm. The market outside hostel and campus is one to explore and as it's a mountain region so it's not pretty safe to roam at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum influenced us with all the amenities and necessary real - world application based problems . Also this is the only GFTIs college in Uttarakhand that's why i chose this course . Curriculum prepares us very well and case based problems are basically solved by us for the placement purpose. Improvement should be there in the practicals exam and viva . Timings of the exam are of 3 hrs. exams are taken striclty , tecahers doen't give time for cheating . Difficulty level is moderate .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college because of its course curriculum and GFTIs position in Uttarakhand. Here they prepare us very well for the real - world application but there is a lack of practicals in the core subject. Improvement should be there in the workshop, practical , and infrastructure . Teaching methods are impressive , no need to change there but they should add practical learning with it. Timings are of 3 hrs. Difficulty level is sometime moderate but sometime it is difficult .

This is a government college so that's the biggest prose of this college and the curriculum is also made the for the help of real world application so we can do well in the future there is also some need of improvement in the method but that is the work is going on that exams in almost every second month and semester ends in 4 or 5 month

Campus placements start from 3rd year or 5th semester we can say. companies like IBM, INFOSYS, PANASONIC COLOR CODE, GOOGLE, SANDISK etc. Highest packages - 15 lakh per annum lowest packages - 3 lakh per annum average packages - 6 lakh per annum Most of student get placed from cse department and half of the student appears for gate and govt. exam . I will sit for placement and my second option will be gate exam i want to study in an IIT.

this college basically focus on the curriculum and nothing more than this is important for them so i chose this college . this college helps in building carrer and real - world application based research facilities are avilable for all students . I think improvement in the building and some basic facilities in college campus would be great . Exam timings are as follows :- they take exam in the month of may and october as even and odd semester exam . Difficulty level is avg. but very difficult for those who don't read .

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get eligible for campus placement. Most of the companies like infosys, mahindra, panasonic, ibm , credly etc. comes in our campus and offered from their side is nearly 50000 for internship then bas on the work they will give placement in the company. Highest packages - 15 lakh per year lowest packages - 3 lakh per year avg. packages - 6 lakh per year One of our senior who was in the third gets offered from color code company of about 50k as an internship. Students get placed based on their talent and skill but most of the students start the preparation of the gate exam . Since student in this college get enough time so they prepare for other competitive exams like gate and upsc.
