Likes
- The college building is well upto date the buildings don't look like they were build very long ago. Wifi connection is present everywhere.
- The library is a major advantage in the college it has a lot of books which students can easily borrow also there us studying area where you can go study easily
- The labs are nicely equipped with alot of labs have AC. But lot of classes lack air conditioning it is present somewhere and sometimes not.
Dislikes
- The campus size is very compared to any other colleges. Only few buildings and a small ground.
- The college can be mess in rainy days since water can get logged in due the bad drainage and roads of the locality which is a major negative point.
- The ratio of girls and boys is not very good, there are around 15 to 20 girls in a class of 60 or 70 students that is around 40 boys. The ratio gets better in other streams.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows MAKAUT courses curriculum which is followed by most of the Colleges in west Bengal so it is more or less same where ever you go. The curriculum is okayish but can use a upgrade, because it still has lot of basic science course in other fields where they may not be so very important.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is decent and average placement is around 6lakhs. If you have decent cgpa and if you have studied well in the college years you can get placed. The it companies offer placements to the students in the campus
Fees and Financial Aid
For each semester you pay upto 85000 for general student, concessions is available for other category of students. For 1 year it will be around 170000. My course fee in total is 695000 for tution. This fees is including everything tution, admission, development, lab fees extra. You need to pay exam fees extra to the university directly during the exams.
Campus Life
The campus size is a disadvantage in the college but so not much college life can be enjoyed in the campus but you can make use of your life outside the campus with your friends. There are few clubs only in the college not many
Admission
I had applied in most of the Colleges in West Bengal and got admitted to this according to my rank in wbjee. This seat was allotted to me in the counselling. The college is fine just campus size is not vey good and the fees is a little higher than what is expected in this.
Faculty
The faculty members are a lot Dicey. Some can ve good whereas some can be a headache for the semester. The teachers in theory subjects are more better than when compared to the practical subject. The teachers in lab can give you lot of trouble otherwise.
Night Life
The college has a gym badminton court carrom tables, table tennis court, few empty spaces for dance practice or martial arts. You can get involved in them during the evening. Also you can olay volleyball or other sports that students play. The campus has a few cafes and all, neighbouring areas stay cluttered with students you can enjoy decently if you have friends.

This was present a little afar from the main town or city, so poor connectivity with main side of the area.
