Course Curriculum Overview

4

B.A. The programme is generally well for its flexibility, but its effectiveness can vary depending on the subject combinations and individual expectations. Students can select from a variety of subject combinations.

Internships Opportunities

3

Maitreyi college offers internships through its summer internship programme, NSS Swachh Bharat Internship, department-led programs, and fairs with firms like EY and Decathlon, enhancing students skills and employability across disciplines.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for my course were 7 to 8 thousand rupees, yes it increases by 200-300 rupees every year. And I am not sure about the scholarship details. But the students from SC/ST quota were paying less than the general.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience was pretty good and it was all because of the people i found there as they were very kind , helpful and were always there for me. And the location of maitreyi is awesome like main south campus, and the campus was very beautiful, like trees and flowers everywhere, very beautiful. The extracurricular activities of our college were also good and there were events organised very often.

Admission

I chose this college because of it's reputation and ranking, location and environment, faculty quality, my seniors from school were also in maitreyi. Maitreyi is better than different colleges because of location, environment, extracurricular, crowd , etc. When I applied for delhi university it was a merit based admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty was good and helpful, and faculty members were known for their approachability and commitment to students success. The course structure offered by Maitreyi College is of range of undergraduate programs under the University of delhi undergraduate curriculum framework. The exam structure of Maireyi was followed by the University of Delhi's guidelines.

The course that I'm doing is very relevant it teaches me about every marketing term that is still applicable the teaching methods adopted for core papers is purely through marketing case studies of new age brands however for SEC VAC GE the other lower credit papers the faculty is bad as well as they don't give context before teaching and assume that their students also have the same background like humanities etc my course for my core papers is veryy good

From semester 5th students become eligible for placements. In fact they are still going on right now. Major companies that i know off which usually visit our college are Bain, DeShaw, Delloite etc. So yea majorly consultancy firms. The highest package as of now in our batch is roughly around 18LPA it could go higher maybe in the near future as the placements are still active. The percentage of students as per my knowledge is around 50% while the placements are still undergoing.

The paper has a direct influence on my future competitive examination and job.. The teaching method and course curriculum should be improved. There are unnecessary materials that has to be bought by the students which are not even helpful The timetable is not so friendly while you have a class at 8:30 then spend the whole day and take the second class at 3:30..
