Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum offer a good theoretical foundation and covers key subjects in depth but lacks hands on practical exposure and real world application while it's helpful of accamedic understanding and further studies it could be better by adding industry related content modern tools and modern based tools and project based learning's

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a decent academic environment with good mix of theory and practical knowledge most of the faculty are knowledgeable and supportive although teaching quality may vary of department to department. Infrastructure is fairly maintained with the library acces , labs and more

Campus Life

2

Campus life is very vibrant and socially engaging, especially during college fest and more . Library is well stocked with good range of books like academic and digital journals. Class room were mostly equipped with projectors but very rarely used. College encourages various student clubs like nss , enactus , and departmental societies they crate grate space for interaction , skill building and overl networking while infrastructure can be better in some areas the clubs more value to college

Admission

I choose the college because it's part of delhi university which known of its well know academic reputation and value of government degree I also applied for other colleges like ramjas and kmc but due to Cutt of difference and limited seats I couldn't get seat in desired courses I want my makes just meet the Cutt of this college and admission oases is entirely merit based through cuet which is most preferred exam for du the admission process is straightforward but competitive

Faculty

4

The college offer a decent academic environment with experienced faculty in most of the departments especially in physics and electronics some professors are supportive and explain everything in detail and some other tend to be very strict some to stick to text books without much interaction the student-faculty ratio is decent the student who take initiative can maintain good relation with teacher the course structure provides theoretical and practical stuff but not including more industry related information and stuff exam are held in every semester with internal assignments and tests contributing around 20-25% to the final grade which university exam make up rest the difficulty of subjects varies from subject to subject but it's become manageable if we prepare and be on date with syllabus

Interview Experience

3

admission. For my program, the admission included a written test followed by a personal interview. Here’s a breakdown of the process: Written Test: Pattern: The test had sections on General Aptitude, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and subject-specific questions (like Physics or Computer Science depending on the course). Duration: Around 1–1.5 hours Preparation: I practiced previous year papers, mock tests, and brushed up on 11th–12th concepts through NCERT and online platforms like Unacademy

Night Life

1

Since there is no hostel in the campus students usually satay in nearby pgs or rented accommodation the night life around the college is not to wild , but popular hang out include Satya Niketan (just cross road)

Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Biomedical Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.
