Course Curriculum Overview

The diverse and well structured curriculum covering indian, global and thematic histories which motivated me to choose this course. It builds strong analytical and research skills, helpful in academia and civil services. Inclusion of internships and placements. Exams held twice a year during extreme weather conditions (may-june and December-January).

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 25380 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st & 2nd year fees - 24,460/ yr 3rd year - 25380 Fees is same for all categories and department provides fee concessions to EWS students after the verification. There's no scholarship provided by college.

Campus Life

Confluence the annual fest of hansraj college it happens in the month of april. There are various events of different societies and clubs their timing are tentative depending mainly on the approval of the Principal.

Admission

One needs to appear in Cuet-ug to make it into the college, the test is conducted by national testing agency. On the basis of cutoffs one gets the admission in the college according to their cuet scores.

Faculty

Currently there are 17 faculty members in history department, 5 of them are well experienced and few have been teaching since 2022 and there are some new recruitments. Relationships of students and faculty is professional and understanding. All the professors are okay. We are supposed to give end sems per semester, 8 papers in 1st & 2nd year and 6 papers in 3 year per semester.

Night Life

The locatility is safe to roam around in the night and there is kamla nagar which is the hub of shopping and cafes for college students. Various chain stores and cafes and restaurants. (Dominos, la pinos, howdy, ricos, mcdonalds, burger club, and kfc many more)

Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. By making them selves skillful growing them selves from iner side By skill Development Engage in skill-building activities such as online courses, workshops, or certifications that are relevant to your field. Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc.
