Remarks

The college is best college is in pune. The facility provided by college is good . The faculty of college is very nice. The various event and computation which are held in college are very good . The sports department is extraordinary and very nice.

Very nice course curriculum. The exam structure is little bit different and challenging for students. The exam structure provides students to think. The exam pattern is nice and easy . The student can score well in this exam pattern

My college provides very nice and well placement . The college also provides internship for student during holidays . Their are few companies which came to our college and select few student for internship course in their company yearly.

College Events

There are many event held in my college . Some of them are totally based on technology. The main event of my college is ENGINEERING TODAY .Which is held in September. There are many compititikns. Like robotics, quize copitition,box cricket,etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible . The fee structure is very low than other college in near by area. The scholarships are available in college. The college give discount to rank holders in college in the college fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The chatrapati shahu maharaj EBC yojana is offered by my college. This scholarship provides conssesion in fee .This scholarship is only applicable for open catagary people. Their are many scholarship also provided by college.

Campus Life

The sports department is very good in pune area . The various types of sport computation were held by college in college campus. The biggest ground in pune is in my college. The cultural department is also very nice.

Hostel Facilities

Yes . The best hostel in Asia. The hostel have free Wi-Fi facility. The best mess in near by area is situated in my hostile. The mobility for any place is available in hostel area. The hostle campus is very nice.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes . They are very helpful . They understand the situation and then help us to overcome that situation. The people in alumni are very good and they devoted for their work . Their network for student help very very strong.

Admission

Through cap round. The cap round is held by gov. Of maharastra . The entrance exam is required for admission. Exams like JEE and CET are main exams for admission. For admission you have to score well in these exams.

Faculty

My college faculty is very nice. They understand the students . They are very helpful for students if and when student need help. Their knowledge is to good in their field or subject. They are very charmful and kind

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Admission: I had also applied for top colleges of Pune with tech related branches but the main reason I can't get their is due to high cutoff of colleges I had applied for top colleges like VIT Pune,PCCOE Pune ,PICT Pune ,D.Y.Patil Pune etc and through cap process depending on my percentile I get my current college AISSMS IOIT Pune and I confirmed for these I sorted the colleges depending on some parameter like last year cutoff, placement percentage, autonomous or not etc My college is in Maharashtra so around 80% of seats given to the students who are admitted through Maharashtra state entrance exam for engineering that is MHTCET and remaining 20% are seat are for candidates who admitted through JEE MAIN score so most students peffered MHTCET Exam for admission in our college The overall addmission process is like after declaration of result student make list of colleges and branches those he want to take that list is in a sequential manner then student had to upload that list on portal of MHTCET after 2-3 day result of that list comes and the college which is allocated seen to us then it depend on us that we want to confirm that college and branch or go for next round total 3 rounds are take place in that process and after confirmation of college reporting has been done offline to the college for final addmission process...Read More

Reviewing the journey up till now !!

I gave several exams and cracked them , but due to some or the other factor , I couldn't choose any other college. Due the ongoing CBSE boards, I couldn't register for MHTCET which is apparently a state exam for MAHARASHTRA . You can opt for different colleges in MAHARASHTRA after giving this exam.
