THE LIFE AT NLUO

The course curriculum is pretty good. Personally getting law and BBA degree fascinated me to take this course. In 5 years, you get 60 different subjects to study. You might feel it to be hectic sometimes but it's really amazing to get knowledge of so many subjects.

There is an internship committee that helps the students to get internships. Every semester students get options to apply to different companies. Moreover, letters of recommendations are provided to each student.

The placement opportunities are pretty good actually. Almost 35-40% of the students get placements and many others get pre placement offers. Even the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Indus Law, Trilegal, Khaitan visit the campus.

The yearly fees structure is 2,56,000 including hostels. There is 40,000 fees for mess. It includes certain refundable deposits too. So around 3 lakhs is what you have to pay for hostels , mess and academics. There are certain scholarships facilities for certain backward classes and certain merit based too.

There are two fests held every year- Hunar and Kairaan, one in each semester. The fests are really engaging and amazing. So you get great social life. Coming to academics, you get projector, furnished classrooms and Air conditioner in each classroom. So overall the college provides you everything.

There is separate boys and girls hostel. Infact two hostels for each. The quality of the food provided by the mess is also decent. Considering it charges just 30,000 for hostel and 40,000 for mess, it is actually not a bad deal.

Honestly, I gave Clat 2025, I qualified for this NLU, so joined this college. And to be fair, it is one of the Top 10 National Law Universities of India. The placements are also increasing. I don't think there is any reason why a law student would not want to join this college.

There are 6 subjects in each semester and each semester is of almost 4 months. Then you get 2 months break for internship and some rest. Faculty to student ratio is also good. 1 faculty teaches 60 students which is decent. The exams are conducted only once in a semester, that is at the end of the semester.

I appeared for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) to get admission in this college. Only after clearing the cutoff, one gets admission in this college. After you get your rank, then you have to appear for counselling.

The nightlife is just amazing. Even students don't sleep till 5 or 6 am in the morning. The cafeteria and canteens are open till late night. There is no such campus timings. You just need to enter campus till 10 pm. After that, it is upto you what you want to do inside the college.
