Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 3 years and it is quite comprehensive and well organised. Lab facility is also there to facilitate the learning of students. Exams are held regularly to check the understanding of students.

Placement Experience

Placements are not decent in our college. Albeit, some corporate and business firms do come in our college but still the packages are not that good. We also have to take care of internships on our own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of the course is very feasible and the ballpark figure is something around INR 2600 per year which sums up to approximately INR 8000 for 3 years. The fees is very much cheaper than other universities.

Campus Life

Various Intra moot competitions, quiz competitions, Cultural fests, debate competition, social campaigns etc are organised every year. Also, some of the top lawyers and judges are also invited for talks regularly.Also, ragging is strictly prohibited in our college.

Admission

Eligibility criteria for joining University Law College is clearing the entrance exam conducted by the university at 50% and 50% in other entrance exam. Also, The candidate must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute.

Faculty

The faculty is supportive and encouraging. They all are from top universities and professionals in their respective fields. They are genial and motivate us in all aspects of life be it social, educational or emotional.

Placement Experience:

In the 9th semester the students become eligible to sit for placements. Barucha and associates, Delloitte, Wadia and Gandhi, HDFC Ergo, Bajaj Finance are some of the companies which offered placement at our college. The Highest package was 15 lakhs and the average lpa was 4 lpa Around 50 percentage of students got placed.

Placement is quite ok in NLU Odisha, mainly company visit the campus during final year of student for placement. Many students secure Pre Placement offer while internship during their penultimate year or last year. I think average package will gone upto 7-8 Lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for campus placements. Various different companies and law firms have visited. The highest paid package was from Microsoft of 50,000-60,000 per month. and the average is 30,000 per month. Students with 8 or 8+ CGPA gets the placements. My plans are of becoming a legal advisor.

In 5years integrated course of Law, students are eligible for getting placements in 9th sem out of 10th. & in 4year courses, students become eligible in 7th sem out of 8th as well. There should be no backlogs of tge student & the student should score more than 6CGPA of marks. After getting my degree I have planned for joking the academics lecturership in thus University.

ULC Bhubaneswar is gem!!

NLU's are my first choice and NALSAR definitely. Dur to reserved system, even after a rank of 7800, i couldn't find myself a seat.
