National Law University Odisha (NLUO) Review

National Law University Odisha (NLUO) is among the best law university in India and the university is part of NLU. I got selected in the college through the CLAT entrance test and after clearing the test I was invited for GD and PI round. After I was able to clear the GD and PI round successfully I was allowed admission to the university. The university is also accredited grade-A by NAAC.

The curriculum of the college is the latest and it is the proper balance of administration legal methods and constitutional. The curriculum properly covers the topic related the human rights and institutional rights. The curriculum is the proper mixture of theory and practicality. The faculty of the college is good and they have very good knowledge of legal and they are very cooperative. The faculty members properly help us to understand the complication of legal methods in the constitution.

The college has good placement options and the college also provides very good corporate opportunities but most of the batchmates preferred to opt for personal practice. Singh & Associates, Exigent Group LLP, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Fox Mondal, MNSA Legal are the names of that were the major recruiters of the college. The highest salary offer was around 10 LPa dn the average salary offer was around 5 LPA.

The college provides scholarships only on a merit need basis through Merit-Cum-Scholarship schemes the scholarship is offered to those whose income does not exceed more than 5 lakh per annum.

The college campus is big and properly designed as well as properly maintained. The college has sports facilities like cricket and football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court. The college also has a campus WiFi facility. The college auditorium is big and properly maintained. The college library is the house of more than 12000 books and all types of books related to legal and constitutional law were available in the college library. The college Moot Court is nicely designed and is a very good place for practice. The computer labs are also very nicely maintained.

The hostel infrastructure is very nicely maintained. The rooms are fully furnished and rooms are available as single accommodation. The hostel has several facilities like a separate reading area, a common room with LCD TV and cable connectivity, a movie screening facility, indoor games facility, 24 hours of medical and WiFi facility. RO on every floor is available for drinking water and the hostel hygiene is properly maintained.
