IGDTWU is perfect engineering college!!

Unless and until one knows the application, Mechanical Engineering is of no use. Hence, our labs are designed in such a way that we learn so many things as automation and how to grind and fix the machine. Everything which is in book, is taught at labs as well. There are some areas for improvement though as internals starts at 2 pm and I propose them to be held in morning.

Companies like Punj Lloyd, BEL, Bhel, Titagarh Wagon and others are some of premiere companies that comes for placements. IT companies list is too long but I want to work on my core branch. So far, 28 lakhs is the biggest placement recorded at our campus and currently Mechanical Branch placements stands at 7-8 lakhs average.

IGDTWU is far ahead of its time and this masterpiece of a college commands just One and a half lakhs in fees. Yes for general category it's this for other categories it changes. Scholarships are there as forms of those are available and from state run to centre run scholarships program, every such program forms are available at the college.

A recreational room and volleyball nets are there at the campus. A Xerox centre, cafeteria and a kisko that serves chocolates and ice-cream. Yes, many students run social groups such as Sankalp, Feed India and others are operational at our campus. NCC is also there and so is a library and an auditorium which is fully air-conditioned. Our annual fest Taarang will be held at the end of this month and all students are already ecstatic.

All the two seater rooms have been converted into three seater now as the demand has risen and these hostels are into existence from long. The ness timings are also till 9 pm for dinner and this is also against my nature.

NSUT, was the other option that I had. DTU i missed out and out of these three after DTU it's our college and hence I took the admission here via counselling. Counselling lasts various rounds and therefore earlier you get admission it's better as in the end only the leftover branches and colleges is what one gets.

Mahip Chaudhary sir who also happens to be our HOD is the sweetest and most noble soul, I have ever come across. Feeling sad for those who often criticizes then because according to me there's no way one can even speak about their laurels. Not just for personal milestones but they have brought laurels for their country as well.

Hostel in time is 8.30 pm, however you can take late night pass and then entry is allowed till 10 pm. Nearby we don't have much as this is a commuting centre of Delhi and main Kashmiri Gate Bus Stand is what we have closest to the college.
