Everything positive. A great College to be at. Great environment. Great crowd. Great campus. Great faculty. Impeccable placement record. If you're hardworking and smart, you're gonna get a dream package for sure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best 2 out of 3 are selected. Course curriculum is based on what industry demands from us. Their course is highly practical and prepares us for the jobs we are going to do beforehand only. Best curriculum in North India

Placement Experience

This College is known for its placement opportunities. Around 200 companies visit for placements and they have a 100% placement record. Internships are also given to interested students. Spend is fair enough. 15-45k

College Events

Many events are there. Dj nights are held, hackathons, companies visit for practical exposure. Overall, life is quite bright over here. They have various clubs which time to time keep organising events

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other private engineering colleges like Thapar University, Patiala. Here, we have just 70k for Baddi campus per semester, whereas 80k for Rajpura campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't availed any. But they do provide financing facilities. You can take student loan. You got to ask for a loan letter whenever opting for it. No there aren't any scholarship opportunities here.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are quite good here. They have gymnasium, football pitch, cricket pitch, table tennis, badminton, pool and much more. The labs here are the best in class. They're integrated with companies

Alumni/Alumna

Strong alumni network. Helpful seniors. When I went to visit the campus, I interacted with many seniors and they were of quite a good guidance. Alumni is connected and chitkara holds time to time alumni interactions

Admission

Nothing much. Just had to go to their head office to apply. Private college, that's why. They give direct admission to students who have given joint entrance exam (Jee) mains exam. I had a good percentile, so got it.

Faculty

Great. They have been here since the College started because the chitkara teacher philosophy is quite good. They're all experienced at their field. Excited to be taught by such good teachers. Dean and others are also very helpful

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
