Likes

campus is very neat and clean and very calm
there are too many events held on very large scale
it is very diverse and people are from different nation

Dislikes

girl to boy ratio is very less boys are too much
campus is not so big is feel conjusted when is time for class over
crowd is too much there are students all around

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is not too good but facality is good as there are real world applications are too good as there are many labs which help to understand things more efficiently The improvements need is they have to change subjets arrangement lke they should teach c instead of python first The frequency of exam is every 2 weeks they are of medium level

Placement Experience

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

our fees of one year is 240000 and hostel fees is 72000 and for joinig clubs and gym there is different fees and in this there is no privilage of category or gender and hostel fees increase 5 thousand every year

Campus Life

there are too many events like hakathon , git and bytes etc . there is a wide range of books in library . there and high end projectors and mics speakers . sports life is too good there are many clubs for sports runned by students itself

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilties are very good and mess food are different type and good as compare to other colleges and hostel and other fees are affordable . Registartion process of hostel is online and affordabilty is good there are around 8 hostel.

Admission

i have also applied in chandigarh university and got scholarship also but this college i choose because the placement was high .No i dont get any rejection from any college as i have not applied in any other college . the admission procss is based on marks in 12 and jee mains

Faculty

there are 4000 students and teachers are 1000 they are approachable I like aman sir who teaches c language he is very friendly there are 4 exams per semester 3 are st and 1 is final paper they are medium level almost 10 persent fail to clear exam is course curriculum is very relevant

Interview Experience

Yes there are group disccusions,group projects and process for admission is based on board percentage and JEE percentile,You don't need to prepare for these round only have to score good in your boards.

Night Life

GYM faculties are very good and library are small but still good.there are famous area such as square 1 and sqaure 2,alpha zone,beta zone and many more because inferastructure is very good.Hostel open till 12 in night

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
