Likes

Excellent curriculum with updated syllabus
Well educated faculty with good experience
Good infrastructure such as digital library

Dislikes

The classes are very boring, there is no interaction between students and teachers
Too many useless assignments per semester
Very less practical classes compared to theoretical classes

Course Curriculum Overview

We learn about advanced topics like data analytics .the citiculam prepares us wrll for real world . Could add more clases like iot etc. we have two internals per semester which are of moderate difficulty

Internships Opportunities

We have to find internships ourselves, very few companies visit for internships offers. But if we can't find any internships then the faculty will help us in finding internships. We have to do internships in our 4 th sem of mca degree

Placement Experience

Students in mca because eligible for placement from 3rd semester, we have a good placement cell and lot of companies visit our college, the average package is 6lpa .almost 70% of our seniors are placed . I plan to work as a software developer after this

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 190000 per year , which include libarary fee , book fee etc For students who got admission through pgcet its 2,50,000 as total fees. There are scholarships available based on yoyr ug and pg marks

Campus Life

The campus life is good we have many clubs we can join , The college organises a lots of feste and hackathon in which we can participate . The faculty is very supportive in students participating in extracurricular activities

Admission

I applied to Christ university and pes . But I choose thid college because it's MCA course is highly reputed and they have a decent placement cell . We have to write kmat exam and got this college through kmat exam marks

Faculty

The faculty is well experienced , the student to faculty ratio is 1:60 . The best faculty member is jaysree who is teaching discrete mathematics .Here we have two internals each semester and the exams are of moderate difficulty. The circulam is well updated

Night Life

The library is open is night , there are cafes , canteen around the college campus. We also have gyms in college hostel. The night life in college is very boring we have to go outside. Nightlife in college is a nightmare

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

My MCA Life : The Real Experience

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

I had some priorities in the colleges and I placed the colleges in the same order Dayananda Sagar College of engineering was in my 6th option and after me getting my ranking i saw the previous year cutoff and I was sure that Dayananda Sagar College wil be the college i will get according to my option entry and my rank And i was also fixed to this college itself I didn't see the above 5 colleges as my option because my ranking and the college cutoff was not matching and had great difference and i didn't got admission to any other college i directly got admission in the same Dayananda Sagar College after the allotment through the dcet exam I wrote the dcet exam after completing my diploma they take the average of last year of diploma and the dcet score and average them and give the ranking these are the main criteria and the college gives space for students according to the categories given from the government for each category certain seats should be given to those category students itself like that...Read More
