UBDTCE Admission 2025
UBDTCE Admissions are conducted through the KCET for undergraduate UG courses like BE and BE Lateral Entry, and through the PGCET for PG courses like M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. Both KCET and Karnataka PGCET are organised by the Government of Karnataka through the KEA. The selection process is based on merit and the reservation policies by the Government of Karnataka. KCET is generally held in April or May, while PGCET is conducted in May or June every year. Seats are reserved for many categories such as General Merit, SC/ST, Category I, II, III, and IV, and special categories like Political Sufferers, Defence personnel, Sports candidates, NCC cadets, and Physically Handicapped students.
For admission to PG courses through PGCET, candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to Karnataka’s SC, ST, and Category-I groups, the minimum eligibility is 40%. Reservation benefits and relaxation in marks apply only to Karnataka candidates. Admissions through the Diploma quota and the Government of India quota are handled by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore.

UBDTCE campus is spread across 45 acres. The campus is located near the city centre and behind the District Stadium. As per our research, the college offers a modern infrastructure with classrooms, laboratories, and a central library with a good number of books, journals, and digital resources. Students have access to high-speed internet across the campus and computer labs with updated systems. The campus has playgrounds for cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball, and also a well-maintained gym. Other facilities are a cafeteria, medical support, a bank ATM, and a cooperative store.
Library: The Library has a good collection of books for all streams. The library has 30277 total no. titles and 74282 no. of volumes. The library also subscribes to 8 Kannada and 6 English newspapers. It also subscribes to 6 Kannada,14 English general periodicals, 16 technical journals and 11 newsletters.

UBDTCE provides hostel facilities to its students. The hostel is owned and managed by the college and aims to offer a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for students from various regions. For the First admission, charges will be INR 13,000 only. Mess Charges per month will be around INR 2,500 - INR 3,000 per month.
