Course Curriculum Overview

5

As I was persuing Majors in English. The curriculum was quite good . We covered all british literature to Indian literature. Women's writing to Dalit Literature. The curriculum made sure that we get to know the various types of literature. Leval of toughness for exams was average as the professor covers almost all the sides of the units so it gets easier for you appear in the exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

You can do internship from outside, college does not provide any sort of internship. It's just they will not ask you to attend regular classes of you have internship to do . But you are free to do internship from outside,

Fees and Financial Aid

We had to pay yearly fee which was approx 10k - 11k other than than each semester we had to pay 500-800 ( depends on course you select) for the semester exam to appear. There is no such placements provided, but you can do internship by your own and college allows you to do so . There are also some scholarship students.

Campus Life

5

Oh Du colleges are best fo Fests . There are lots ta of cultural and departmental fest m if you are a part of society then it's the best thing you can . You get to organise the fest and competition. The college also has library in it and you will get almost all the books related to your syllabus. The rooms are not well ventilated so you might face problems during summer .. bharati college is best for sports. Football team is amazing and also supports other sports activities, and our college has won lots of medals in sports

Admission

I applied in 2 colleges one was Bharati and the other was deen dayal. I was selected in both of the colleges . But I opted for Bharati bcz this was all girls college. You just have to fill the form check the eligibility and once the payment is done, you are admitted

Faculty

5

1:6 could be the ratio , faculty was good it has always been supportive. Jaya yadav, Akansha , from english hons were 2 of my favourite faculties who always helped and guided me for the best . During my time there were 2 semester exams in each year for 3 years, and professors usually take 2 unit test, one as a written test and the other for presentation. This way they evolved us in both writing and speaking. Each unit test was for 10 marks .

Night Life

5

College itself has gym, library and a district park near it . The area is quite good and wholesome. You can get best of cafes, best of parks and the area is very good, and friendly. I have never been in hostel, but I have heard from my friends that hostel is also good and it's food also . Famous place to hangout is pacific mall , tilak nagar for street shopping, janakpuri West, and it's supper safe even in night as it's located near tihar jail so the area has good security.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
