Honest and to-the-point review through a day scholar's eyes

It was more my existing stream than the curriculum that made me choose this course. It doesn't give me a kickstart to my future career goals but it was the most secure and relevant one. There should be more real world exposure and teaching technique rather than the century old laid out theory practices. The frequecy of exams is somewhat suitable as per the subjects per semester.

Fees is very affordable compared to the rest of the colleges. All the various type of fees altogether is quite feasible. Two or three type of merits university-wise is available. There merit and non merits available, I suppose.

Range of books available is high but it is limited. You can access it easily from the library. The classrooms has one or two charging points and one projector but only a few of them work but that's it. Various sports are offered and the practice sessions are geld very early in the morning. Many clubs are there but not all them are renowned. Only one or two fests are held in college every year that is decent.

I applied to other more renowned colleges due their campus environment and infrastructure but I didn't get then due to cut off and reservations mismatch. The eligibility for this college that I know of is 12th pass following CUET cut off with mandatory exams on Accountancy/Maths and English in CUET. Cutoff varies but it usually is 625+ out of 800 for gen category. Admission was somewhat confusing but direct.

Faculty to student ratio is high. The relantionship of faculty to student is not that good as I've seen from many students. A very out of them is approachable. Many hardly cares about student's issues and are unnecessarily strict to the book. Mid-experience profs are very hard to deal with. Only some of the newest, just starting out their career of teaching and some of the very few senior most teachers are actually kind and care about their students. The exams are not low in no. but it is the least they can do so it is alright as per DU curriculum. Very few students fail to clear the exams but there should be nil in that category. The relevance of the course curriculum is not the best but it can be improved as it seems outdated a bit.

No gym outside campus as of now, limited cafes but the ambience is not very decent, it's okay if you like a humble set-up. Average hostel infrastructure and set up. There is no famous hangout spots other than the chai/sutta spots if I am being very honest. There is a park but that's it. The night culture is not known to me but it's somewhat safe, I'm guessing
