Likes

Nice crowd and decent canteen , however the menu is short but the food is affordable .
Well connected transportation like metro
Nice environment with diff societies that suits your interest

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very bad as compared to the other colleges in the north campus
There is only one canteen in the college which provides less options
There is no ac,s in classes and even the fans are old

Course Curriculum Overview

I,ve heard that in english hons there are many opportunities for the placements and i wanna learn english not as a language but as a subject. The curriculum is nice with many epic , poetry , comedy , tragedy and dramas . The course can be improved if we read literature of the same time frame rather than studying one thing from 1600 and other from 1800

Internships Opportunities

I am not aware about these because i am in the first year right now and i am not doin any kind of internships. In the future i will try to indulge in the internships . I,ve heard from my friends that they get 15k something like that i dont know

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearwise fees is 15k and it is same for my fellow batchmates too with no difference The examination charges are diff from the fees I dont know about any scholarships but i guess there are some for the reserved candidates

Campus Life

As i have said before there are no ac,s in the class room the infrastructure is pretty average if we talk about the nrif ranking . The scieties help a student to explore more opportunities and grow themselves

Admission

I,ve applied for hindu college , ramjas , stephen , venky , arsd etc . I want to do pol sci hons but the algorithm alloted me kmc as my marks were low and i chose this college because of the reputation of the north campus

Faculty

Most of the faculties are nice and very frank in my course. There are no bad teachers while some of them are motre strict than the others . I personally like rudrashish sir and neeru mam for their humorous personality and teaching style

Night Life

I dont know about the night life but the surrounding area is nice . I am talking about kamla nagar . There are many shops to purchase and eat in kamla nagar . There are many famous venders like sudama chai stall and uncle maggi

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Academic Excellence and Dream Professors, Great Crowd

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

KMC is Karizmatic!!

St Stephens as for BSc it is arguably one of the best colleges of DU. The cut-off was just missed by some points or else, i would have been there. College wise we are also among the best and to get admissions here, CUET (UG) and then once the results are out, CSAS portal is where i registered. I booked my seat through there and locked ut before it was gone. Yes, sometimes we miss out on our favourite college due to that but it is inevitable to lock that on time as well....Read More

Why to choose KMC for your studies??

The eligibility for admission into my course which was B.A.(Hons) Political Science was the merit cut-off declared by the college but now admission is now on the basis of once CUET scores. Admission usually after 12th results are announced by the CBSE and we have a university portal where one can apply for the admission. Sometimes declaration of subsequent cut-offs is delayed because the verification of the documents produced in the previous cut-off has not been completed.
