Campus Life

The campus life is very nice . It is so much got in there during day time but still enjoyable. There are many tourist spot near the campus so with friends it is a incredible experience.night life is so cool that the city never goes to sleep

Admission

I have applied to jee securing a seat on nit srinagar ,due to the long distance I cancelled my plan, and applied for ktu , which I realised it was a much worse choice.so I chose cochin university of science and technology ( CUSAT).

Faculty

In Cochin University of science and technology (CUSAT) The faculty ratio is 1:20 approx , teachers are more friendly and making a positive approach to the students . It's a 4 year course and in each semester there are 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam. Average of 2 internals is counted.

Night Life

Night life are incredible due to the city never goes to sleep there are anything available in the campus or outside the campus and also the campus is an open campus ,since there are no curfew for boys in college hostel it's nice.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good, can be better. This year the average is 15L and median is 12L and highest is 50L for ece, the percentage of placed students in ece is also greater than 80%.In the 3rd year students are taken for interships and those may convert to placements and for 4th year students placements will start from the start of their 4th year itself.For ece meesho, dell, texax instuments and many other companies came, meesho paid the highest salary in ece.My plan is to secure a good job in core company.

Nit Calicut - Good Side and Worse Side

Placement Experience:

we get placements mostly in the post 6th sem or in 7th sem. Some major companies like texas instruments offer good packages here. others include meesho, goldmans sachs, dell, bpl. Highest package is around 50lakh for ece students and around 70 lakh for cse. more than 80 percent get placed from cse and ece but is only around 20 percent in branches like production engineering, engineering physics. less core companies than it ones

MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

Placements are the main highlight of our college.Highest package offered this year was 52 lpa by D.E shaw &Co . Average package was around 8lpa. Almost all students from CSE and ECE were placed . Companies: Redbus, Deloitte,TCS,UST Global etcs. Students from sem 6-7 are eligible for placements.

All u need to know about Cochin university

I have not applied for any other colleges in kerala as i consider Cochin univeristy a bit efficient than KTU also the location is a prime factor, as companies rely on location, airport is close to my campus, the railway station as well, transportaion is easy here .
