Remarks

Its very attractive College. But somehow a little bit strict. Have very good academics. Extra curriculm activities etc. College ambiance is very nice. Faculty members are very nice. Nice hostel and canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our College is NBA accredited. It has a very nive infrastructure. Very good teaching and non teaching staffs. Labs are with all those facilities required. We dont want to depend on others for our praticals. We have our own facilities. All the labs and class rooms are fully facilitated. Wifi enabled campus.

Placement Experience

We have our own placement and training group. They groom up students to get ready for placements. They focus on our linguistic mainly. Companies come to our campus to recruit students. Manu students are placed on many well known companies.

College Events

Tech fest is our most attractive program it is known as Tharang. We celebrate it yearly. Students from other Colleges also participate in it.also we celebrate all those cultural fests, arts,sports etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. We offer scholarships from our managment. Reduction are allowed in fee. Fee should be paid in the beginning of each semester. Many students are availed by schloships. We have our own bank branch inside College.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Minority caste scholarships. These include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains. The candidates must be studying in class 11 or above. Thus, the students studying in class 11,12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M. Phil or PhD areeligible to apply for this scholarship.

Campus Life

Extra curriculum activities are very much unsupported. Students are motivated to participate in hackthon and other tech fest. We have very improved labs with all facilities. Sports are motivated with annual sports fest. We have our own sports club.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a very good alumnis. Our College facilities are improved by their support. We have a alumni corner which is somehow a park. Its one of our main attraction. All those alumnis are still our good big brothers and sisters.

Admission

Attended KEAM and on the basis of this rank list applied for my favorite course. College authorities contacted me for further procedures of admission. Then according to College rules and regulations completed the admission procedures.

Faculty

Faulty members are very caring and supportive. They support us on academics and also other extra curriculum activities. They do their best to bring up nice citizens. Almost all the faculties are Phd completed.

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

An Electrical and Electronics Engineering experience in Jyothi Engineering College

I had also applied to government engineering college in Wayanad where I got a confirmed admission but I decided to join here as I have heard Jyothi engineering College has a better placement opportunities and a dedicated faculty and the campus life is also really good. I got rejected from Government Engineering College Thrissur and College of Engineering Trivandrum s as the cutoff for those colleges are higher than what I achieved. Admissions are usually done through KEAM examination rank or through management quota.
