Course Curriculum Overview

2

The circulum is not very practical at bachelors levwl it ahould imclude more practice based knowledge, i terships should have been included as a part of curriculum, the practices should have been take more seriously and sould have bewn conducted within the vide of conduct for better learning. The teching material should be provided there was no spurce for atraining the study materials, the curiculem should specify the stusy contents like the the subjecta invluded only have the headings od ci.tents to be included they should provide proper outline for all that ia to be included and srudied under the respective subject. The frequency of exmas was good but the time provided was not appropriate the semester used to be really short and there were merely any preperatory holidaya given as they used to conduct practical vivas during the preperatoey holidays

Campus Life

2

The campus offers an annual festival called Mirak, but there is limited information about any dedicated technical festivals. The library provides a good range of books and journals, along with a departmental library, though the latter is just adequate. Classroom facilities are quite basic, lacking smart boards and internet connections, with only moderately functional projectors available. Sports and extracurricular activities are limited, with minimal organized sports or campus-wide events. In terms of student engagement, there are a few student-run societies like Alankar (likely arts or literature-based), Nrityam (dance society), and a Music Society. Social interaction mainly occurs through one or two WhatsApp groups, which offer basic communication but do little to create a strong campus community.

Admission

I chose this college because i thought it was founded earlier than the other vollge optiona that were available for me under DU, it was a girls college so my parents were more comfortable sending me there, the course was affordable, one of my school teachers advised me taht the college is good, but i regret goimg for thsi vollege was not upto the expectations. The admission process was merit based, i did not face any Group Discussions, Interviews or Written Tests for admission.

Faculty

2

Thr faculty was bad, there was a lack of tecahers, the calsses cinducted were upto no good, the course study material was not helpful, the way practicals were done was disastrous. No sense of resposnibilty in teachers, the HOD was bad too much control over the administration, lomh administrative pracesses. The curriculum was fine but could have been better there should be choice of subjects for the stidents and teachers should not choose the subjects for the students. As for the faculty i liked shivantika sharadh ma'am and saif sir bit saif sir left the college just afyer the 1st sem and ahivantika ma'am was not given much to teach us.

Night Life

2

No gyms, there weresoem caffes around the campus, the public area was sound and safe, you would probably do fine leaving the college around 6 oe 7 in the evening. Caffees- counter culture cafe, woodrock bakery, bakebook bakery. Mall- cross river South indain restraunt- dosa factory

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
